  1. Not too bad at our local Asda, I was expecting pandemonium in there........ but it does help that we don't particularly do the whole Christmas thing... so we were in the shop and out within 15 mins...
  2. Christmas turkey (thawed) ruined, along with many many other foodstuff. Not much breast or leg meat on the Robins, so they ain't a alternative.

  6. The social worker does her best, but all she can offer is soothing words. She says she will bring my wife a walking stick to help her, my wide has elbow crutches and 3 walking sticks already, maybe we can burn the new stick, keep us warm for 15 minutes.
  7. Na, in her defence she eats and drinks very little of them. Wanted a wet room and handrails putting up......but they gave us some pamphlets for voluntary organisations that might be able to help...don't think we will bother..
  8. A social worker came to see my wife today about her mobility problems What a waste of their, and our time... Everything we asked about?..the answer?.. No!.
  9. Had a little ride, called in at Halfrauds to spend my £30 gift voucher, what was I able to buy for the scoot? 2 spark plugs. , on the shelves were some spark plugs and some cleaning products.....bugger all else ..Pathetic.
  10. Weatherman says 11c for us on Monday, I may try a little ride , before I bring the scoot indoors for the winter.
  11. 13c ......almost tropical for us.
  12. My wife is up (at 10.30am) and wandering around in her dressing gown ... we have nowhere to go, so I guess she won't bother getting dressed today. I will feed the birds and vermin, get me out in the fresh air for......5 mins.

  15. I took a walk to Tesco, glad i walked or I would still be in the queue to get into the car park, and out again. Bah Humbug!.
  16. Mine took 2 days to assemble, mostly by trial and error.
  17. My Yardmaster shed was a bastid to assemble, each panel and strengthening supports were individually numbered........ with stupid long numbers.....the panels were all numbered with a A , but the numbers did not follow, Panel A216 connects to Panel A 412 (for example. Panel 1 to 2 to 3 would have made it simpler.
  18. Foggy here, but got to venture out... To Asda.
  19. Yep, it stopped in 1968 for secondary school kids, 1971 for junior school children.
