It is a nice idea to have a (kind of) Pete,s Memorial Ride. Sorry I can't attend, 200 mile to the start point for me, then a 200 mile ride, after the ride (maybe) a 150+ mile ride home, too much in one day, and on a 250cc scoot, very very doubtful.......so to those that do make it to the event, Have a great time. 🏍

Caravan!...we have gone upmarket (slightly) on this break.......we are in a B&B.....

Had last evening at a pub, a few lagers and some reasonable food, woke this morning and.............my back is absolutely fucked, we will have tonight here then home after breakfast, so going to give the beach racing at Mablethorpe a miss.

Arrived at Skeggy at 2.30, Lincoln ring Road was the usual disaster, 2 miles covered in 30 mins, won't go that way home on Sunday....off too find food now.

A few times.......it was either Skeggy or Jaywick..

Granddaughter rang yesterday "Scoot making a funny noise and won't start!" .....So I nipped over to hers, battery almost totally flat, starter relay just chattering when button is pressed, she also said that when it was running it would only do 25mph!....tried to pull it out of the garage, front brake absolutely seized, charged the battery, stripped the caliper, cleaned and greased it...scoot now starts and does 55mph again, so i thought I would check other things too, oil level fine, air filter clean, tyres!...both down by at least 22psi....... a bucket of wash and wax would be a good thing too.....

Setting off to Skeggy shortly only staying there till Sunday, which is more than enough. Will go to Mablethorpe and watch the last beach racing of the winter season, have meal, then travel home.

Been up in one of those things, once........... there won't be a 2nd time..........

We have Sky TV, 200 channels of crap, our TV spends more time turned off.

46 a bad age............my son is 44, he has the brain of a 13 year old making his day to day decisions...

Well I definitely won't be riding till March. This week's schedule is full.....shopping (food), wife's birthday (pub visit), hospital visit (wife) and housing association are coming to put a handrails in the bathroom.

Beer!..beer!...my Christmas booze is still in the fridge untouched. I will start the scoot, it needs a run really, then I will clear up the fallen branches from the garden, they are from next doors (dead) tree, but always end up on my garden. Apart from that, a usual day here.

As said before, the housing association fitted a new boilerin the bungalow, it is not a patch on the old boiler, radiators get hot, but slow getting up to temperature...

I no longer make long term plans, take each day as it comes, i would like to do much more with my time left, but there are restrictions that prevent many things happening.

The older you get, the faster time passes, the days no longer seem long enough.

It is a very mild day, but wet and windy too. 1st job is to sort out the slight water leaks coming from the roof, and take down some shelves that are slowly collapsing, it will pass a hour or so.
