  1. Is it like mural wallpaper or just a mahoosive poster?
  2. Is it just me or are you giving Tym a run for his money?
  3. We’ll see 🌧 The fixings look ok and the panniers have waterproof cases/liners in them so I’m not too bothered. The Andalucian sun is definitely a take as many layers off as possible type climate and wearing a hydration pack is too hot. Also not fond of cleaning them and dont like carrying the weight on my person (3litres is an extra 3kilos on your back). Plus its a bit of a faff bothering with one when you’re going to the supermarket to do a big shop. I’ll let you know how much it wrecks them after Ive ridden in the rain a bit The fixing system they’ve used allows you to unclip the water bottles and click a small jerry can in its place… I have one eye on Morocco
  4. Panniers tuned up. I give them until the end of their first outing to get scuffed up and look tatty. Got a couple of bottle holders to go on the outside of the case (stopping and getting water out of a voluminous tightly strapped down bag did my noggin in after a few days) so my first job is to drill holes in my brand new panniers. Im thinking mañana
  5. I had the Indiana Jones music going around in my head while I was watching it
  6. Marvellous stuff. I can’t ever see temples without thinking of Indiana Jones or Baloo
  7. Usually it looks like someone vomited into a carton.
  8. Nope Kermit and you’re more likely to unwittingly eat Dobbin in a ready meal in the uk.
  9. I know its silly but you being inaccessible to bears make me happier (I mean real bears you weirdos, not the other kind!). Reckon you’ll be more than fine with a trailer, its like learning to ride/drive anything else. Pick a moment when things are quiet and you feel nearly ready and go for a short spin down to a roundabout and back again and just go. They have those in Canada right?
  10. Well thats what everyone else does
  11. Oops soz forgot you’re a devoted epicurean. Well heres summink you might enjoy. While growing up and having my head filled with notions of British superiority one of the corkers they planted was that other countries had to heavily flavour their meat with spices and flavourings because it wasnt good enough quality to be eaten undisguised, unlike British meat which was grazed and slaughtered by the skilled on gods land. Then I went to France, I dont think they were100% telling the truth you know
  12. Aaw what lovely birthday sentiments
  13. Oh dear all that curried mutton over the pavement I hope my sunday lunch fairs better, I was going to slow cook the joint overnight in curry spices, I’m starting to rethink I also have terrible (hazy) memories that shamefully I’d rather not remember, but I salute on you sharing that cos I have far too many of them and none I’m brave enough to share. Maybe the one about waking up gawd knows where in a pantry dressed in a naughty santas helpers outfit wondering wtf I was doing surrounded by condiments is tame enough although perhaps not. Quality outfit though, bright red needlecord velvet and genuine white feather trim, remember it well.. cos I walked home in it with no shoes at 6am.
  14. A serendipitous trailer! So you sleep in this trailer rather than having to put a tent up and down all the time or is is a luggage carrier? As you can tell I dont really know what a travel trailer is
  15. No an old thing. Its just got a great name, looks horrifying and doesnt happen often so its always news.
  16. Monkey pox makes an appearance every now and then, doesn’t generally take off because it doesn’t transmit easily from human to human. Cors theres always room for a mutation but its not something I’d be concerned about. Worry wise its up there at the level of getting bubonic plague from a squirrel bite
  17. @gymwitch HAPPY BIRTHDAY Hope you have great day.
