  1. If the Imigran doesnt get rid of your migraine have a gander at Midrid. I dont get headaches or Migraines anymore (other than the hangover variety) but when I did that stuff worked an absolute treat. https://www.expresschemist.co.uk/product_1931_midrid-15x.html
  2. Blimey 8880 reviews for it. Wonder if it works on hangovers? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07DG2Z1NH/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=A31TXJ2OUARSQI&psc=1
  3. I have a headache too buts mines sherry induced and strangely I dont feel one iota of shame for doing that to myself Do you have anything to help deal with the migraine? Ive heard migraine caps are the bees knees. Ill find a link.
  4. Sounds like cultural insensitivity or perhaps that should say cultural over sensitivity on her part. You didnt know that wasnt ok with them and it does whiff of bullshit just a bit doesnt it. Shes just trying to push your buttons. Dont buy into it Pete. Bypass the silly child and talk to the adult which sounds like its her dad. Her having your son by the balls is a killer and its hard to ghost her but the swiftest way to end her nonsense is to mentally send her to her room and not let her out (engage with her) until she behaves and if she doesnt thats ok youve sidelined her. Set it up now and hopefully youll have an easier ride when she arrives. Dont lose sight that what youre doing for your son and grandchildren is above and beyond, top man. Alternatively spike her drink with LSD and watch her come down in a different place.. I jest of course.. kinda
  5. She’s crazy you know that. I wouldn’t waste my energy on her. In a different life I used to breed and train dogs. There’s some surprising crossovers between human and canine behaviour. If you had a badly behaved dog one for example that wouldn’t shut up or ran away the easiest way to correct this annoying behaviour was to turn your back on it. Literally turn away from them and walk the other way and not chase after them or reward their behaviour with attention. They very quickly would stop barking or turn back to chase after you. Works with people too.
  6. Really? I heard the older you get the longer they get
  7. Will he be able to earn a crust while he’s in Spain?
  8. Alright Mr Johnny Bigpants Seriously though thats great news and 300 a month, brilliant. Its not going to kill your wallet. Im paying 500 and I thought that was a bargain!
  9. Chasing the sun. Sounds great. @Rob M £60ish quid a day sounds very good for what youre getting. Please take loads of pics and do us a ride report.. pretty please with a cherry on top
  10. I’m jealous! My grandad was Irish but Im told by my mother there’s absolutely no proof. Shame ay.
  11. That honestly sounds friggin amazing! Can I pry and ask how much approximately you think it will cost? No worries if you want to ignore this question.
  12. The number of people that get totally switched off reading by school is shameful. Terrible system more akin to dog obedience training than teaching the joys of learning. Nevermind some egomaniacal expert/politician will be along shortly to insist on another ill conceived change.. and people will just go along with it Just as well your mum was paying attention wasn't it.
  13. Yum I want lemon meringue pie now!
  14. Jesus Christ what where your teachers on? That shits from some freaky trip, how did anyone buy into it??? Hang on Ill read the article, that might help edit- read the article it is a really dumb idea. "We need to teach them how to read and write so instead lets teach them something different first but quite similar so there's always confusion, then tell them to forget that and learn what they really need to know." Genius.
  15. Sounds like you'll have a blast. 16 days means you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the area and get back in the nick of time before the school holidays start. A bit of a longer trip than usual though isn't it, I guess less people means more flexibility? Had a look at the Timmelsjoch pass. Looks fantastic. Stayed nearby in Obergurgl and visited Hochgurgl both beautiful places but the Timmelsjoch road looks amazing. Can't wait to see some pics.
  16. Theyre as loved in Spain as over here then!
  17. I'm sure you have but ill mention it in case. Have you tried idealista?
  18. Never got Bryan Ferry. He creeps me out a bit. Apparently he's a nice enough guy
  19. Theyre likely to want you to start paying rent asap though aren't they and its a bit risky committing to renting when there's a crazy element in the mix! Any tricks up your sleeve or are you just gonna have to suck it up?
  20. At the moment other countries still want their version of the PLF filled out before they'll let you in so you would have to do the French version to get on the chunnel/ferry to France. By June hopefully more will have dropped the requirement. Its the PLF to get into the UK thats been dropped. So you won't have any hassle getting back in. That might seem minor but the return journey is more stressful if you if you dont have access to a printer and are relying on finding things on your phone which tech being what it is always lets you down when there's a massive queue and you need it most On my first return (when all restrictions were in place) I had used the government website to get proof of vaccination QR codes but then for the return journey I needed to use the app which involved facial scanning and passports pics. I then got an email saying thankyou for your application it can take up to 48hrs to varify your account. My flight was only 24 hours away, that wasn't much of a laugh! So yer hopefully all heading in the right direction.
  21. I missed this. From the govt website- “From 4am Friday 18 March, all COVID-19 travel restrictions will be lifted, including the passenger locator form (PLF) for arrivals into UK, as well as all tests for passengers who do not qualify as vaccinated. This change, therefore, removes the need for unvaccinated passengers to take a pre-departure test and a day 2 post arrival test.“ Whoop whoop one less bit of shitty covid related paperwork to fill in
  22. Sensible policies for a stronger Britain
