Plans for sturgis haven't changed...departing Aug 7...Dan is checking out some rides in the area...and average of 100 miles loops...we should be able to do two per day...on location for 3 days...only planning for one afternoon at the rally it self...can't wait...

Truck driver is a young man sport....my son works from 6 to 6...no weekend most of the time..at least he's getting good experience and if something else pops up down the road... Just back from a test ride...perfect, exactly what I was looking for...hardly any poping during deceleration and I can now hear the intake noise... I can only describe what it was like before...like if you took two pieces of 2 by 4 and wack them together behind your ears...it got annoying specially in steep incline...or when ever you loaded the engine in lower gears...

Well that went well , though for sure I'd have to take the mufler off the bike...was able to pull it out without much fuss...one down...one to go...other than louvers...they look identical.

I've tried so many times to film it with my phone without success... and I've got my hands on a go-pro recently from one of my boys and was able to film it...I'm going to load the video to my YouTube channel...I can only describe has a glowing ball..coming in at extreme speed at times ..no sound..no vapor trail...stops...and shoots off again..at times in a different direction...now don't laugh...to me it looks like somekind of gravity drive... Ill load it in the morning...changing out the rear tire on the indian...

A little secret ... I'm a sky watcher , when the weather is clement, when I wake at times for a bathroom break 3 or 4 am in the morning..I sit outside and look to the sky , I've seen a few things that are not satellites or planes...remember when those strar link satellites were first launched and I didn't realise what they were...lol.
