Cheers, still a 10 footer but tidy and fingers crossed mechanically sound now. Desperate for some dryer weather so I can get some miles on it and get to know it.

All back together now, waiting for the Yuasa then a decent day to get out and use it. May paint the engine casings in the meantime. Both sides need doing.

I wonder when in history someone was so hungry that they thought they would try eating that sort of thing.

Tou can eat them raw, no problem. But the flavour is very different, less intense and more ocean. This one ended up sauted with onion and garlic and a chilly, white wine, then an heirloom tomato for a while to cook it properly, and parsley, a good mix with linguini, and a squeeze of lemon before serving. Tasted amazing, but the credit goes for the squid. The nice flavour and texture is what you get from buying line caught adult seafood that lived a good life while wild, instead of eating whale blubber like Marcel!

Just ordered a Yuasa for the Sprint from Tanya Batteries, the battery on the bike is a Numax that Tanya are selling for £37 , the Yuasa was double that but Worth it IMHO.

Looks like we're finally due for some snow tonight....I'll believe it when I see it. Since Mrs. Hook seems to have come down w/ a pesky sinus issue, I decided to do a load of her laundry for her...BUT not before I got a much needed session on the Mullet in before the precip starts falling....

With a bit of luck the (hairdressers) car will be on the road tomorrow, I just have a few bits to do to on them both, swap the (new) battery off of the Dacia and put it on the Clio, and give the Dacia,s interior a good clean, SORN it, then put it on Marketplace at the weekend. Going to SORN the scoot too, the car & scoots VED & insurance are both due next month, i want to get it away from March, but what to do with the scoot keep, sell?, not sure, I have my eye on a 125cc but it is 40 miles away, and I don't think it will fit in the back of a Clio

To be fair, it does look like they have been caught from somewhere near Chernobyl.

It's a hydraulic switch so I have just unplugged for now, the brake light still works on the front lever so should be safe enough to ride it like that
