  1. Good luck with that.... Everything I set out to do to mine takes 5 times as long as I think it will, hence it's mostly still in bits all over the garage floor

  8. I’ve had a weird fascination with getting a Hinckley Triple for ages. I’ve done a fair bit of research and have a rough idea of the trouble I am getting into. .

  11. A woman in a supermarket is following a grandfather and his badly behaved 3 year-old grandson. It's obvious to her that he has his hands full with the child screaming for candy in the candy aisle, cookies in the cookie aisle; and for fruit, cereal and pop in the other aisles. Meanwhile, Granddad is working his way around, saying in a controlled voice, "Easy, William, we won't be long, easy, boy." Another outburst, and she hears the granddad calmly say, "It's okay, William, just a couple more minutes and we'll be out of here. Hang in there, boy." At the checkout, the little terror is throwing items out of the cart, and Granddad says again in a controlled voice, "William, William, relax buddy, don't get upset. We'll be home in five minutes; stay cool, William." Very impressed, the woman goes outside where the grandfather is loading his groceries and the boy into the car. She said to the elderly gentleman, "It's none of my business, but you were amazing in there. I don't know how you did it. That whole time, you kept your composure, and no matter how loud and disruptive he got, you just calmly kept saying things would be okay. William is very lucky to have you as his grandpa." "Thanks," said the grandfather, "but I'm William… that little bastard's name is Kevin."

  13. Spent a few hours today, taking the variator apart and inspecting all the bits and bobs and nothing is worn out or seized. Also inspected the brake calipers and they seem fine too, however closer inspection of the rear disc shows that it is ever so slightly warped. I think that may be the root cause of the problem.

  14. Did you find a solution with your CB125F to lower it? I’m trying the same for my wife who is 5’1” and is using the bike for practice before getting her full licence. I have lowered the ride to lowest setting and bought a seat to reshape the foam but failing that I’ll try shocks too. She is practicing with techniques to get her left foot down and that helps but as it’s very new I’m just trying to give her some confidence with low speed handling.

  15. Probably the furthest thing from her mind.... the neighbor down below's from me is kinda the same....some Bikers he pissed off came & tried to burn his house down...torched the whole roof & he finally bulldozed the rest down...then he built a lame 8ft. fence around the place outta shipping pallets! He bought a 5th wheel trailer to live in & the rest of his yard is filled up w/ 3 boats, numerous Hardleys, a few pick-up carcass'....basically your typical Redneck Honey hole. It's known locally as the Pallet Palace..... Small Town livin', gotta love it
