  2. Drove almost 600 miles (round trip) yesterday to go visit a coupla old buddies I've known since grade school...haven't seen those guys for a handful of years. Feel pretty darned blessed that I live where I do now & don't have some of the health issues that they do. Definitely come to the conclusion that the whole left side of OR has turned into an absolute sh*t-hole-- It rained off & on across the state yesterday but today looks promising weather wise....time to get the chain put back on the Mullet & go for a Ride!

  3. Tomorrow me and Sofia will be flying to London, to spend a day with a couple of friends, and then collect two Triumph Scramblers to ride back to Portugal via France. I’m having serious difficulties ignoring the 32° outside when thinking of what gear to pack!

  13. Your bike´s segment? Expensive overweight touring cruiser? They made this: It's 6 cylinders, 1650cc, 160hp, and 175Nm torque, 115 (front) and 135mm (rear) suspension travel, 336kg wet. Your piece of shit is 1780cc, 122hp, 173Nm torque, 130(front) and 118mm (rear) (WTF??) suspension travel, and 361Kg dry. So heavier, way slower, less smooth and comfortable, and shittier handling. Quarter mile, since it matters to you: 10,9 for the BMW vs 12,7 for your barge. The BMW will be nicer to ride, smoother and faster, sounds nicer, and runs rings around your boat anchor. It's vastly superior on everything!

  15. I do love my Indian ( I find the FTR's one of the best looking bikes ever made), but I have to admit I find the aesthetics of the bikes with all the boxy fairings and luggage rather difficult to appreciate .

  26. I don't really know, not much of a problem where I live but is a problem in more densely populated areas of the UK. Also Britain is way more densely populated in general than Canada I would guess.
