1 Corinthians,
Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, not moose fondlers, nor midgets, will inherit the kingdom of God.
Car checked over for tomorrow's epic journey oil, water and tyre pressures checked, and it has a tank full of E10...
Weather forecast is still reasonable too as long as it is dry there it will be OK for us.
The culprit. There is a noticeable notch in the cam follower bearing. All working well now motor sounding sweet and not to horrendous a bill in fact I think it was very reasonable as he has a cash rate
25th, so a bit over 2 weeks, I will be 61
I still feel about 20 in my head. My back aches, ankle is a bit knackered, shoulder aches due to a pinched nerve in my neck, half of my right leg is numb, so my body doesn't quite feel 20.
... but according to my wife I act like I'm about 12 most of the time.
Well finally got to the bottom of the rattle, nothing to do with the cam chain in the end. It was the bearing which in the inlet rocker runs in, the bearing broke down and opened up the inlet valve clearance intermittently. . I had to give up and take the bike to my trusted guy who found it. He is going to strip the parts from my spare engine tomorrow to get Shadow back on the road as the bearing we need is on back order. So I am going to put an order in for that bearing and sort my spare engine again so that it is ready to go back in when I get the bike back in the future. I not saying I wouldn't have found it, it's just if I started the job the pressure would have been on to get it done and I am not a mechanic and like to do things slowly to get it right, rather than fuck things up by rushing while I was learning to do it.
Really looking 4ward to getting to our reserved campsite this afternoon...friends we're camping with already secured it. Packed up the truck yesterday...decided to take the Manual...Mongoose mtn. bike, since I haven't thrown a leg over it for awhile. Just gotta pack up 2 coolers, collect the dogs & we're gone!
The thunder and lightning always seems to skirt round us. It’s the only upside of going to see the in-laws in Florida, they have some really good storms. I was standing in the porch way watching a really good thunderstorm a few years back and lightning hit the ground just the other side of the garden fence. I nearly shat myself.
