It's time for July's Bike Of The Month, and this month we've got the following seven entries, including some surprise wildcard entries!!! @boboneleg's Yamaha WR250X, always giving the little Yamaha a good dirty workout. @Buckster's Harley Davidson FLHX Street Glide (I had to look up the model name twice!) @Catteeclan's Yamaha Tracer 900 GT. It's a brave new world! @JustaPor's Honda CB750 Hornet, in stealth plate mode riding into California, Portugal!!! @Marcel's KTM 950 Adventure, adventuring close to water! @Nute's Yamaha MT09, looking mean in it´s first entry to BOTM. @Saul's Honda CB750 Hornet. Saul always delivering and living the motorcycle lifestyle, perfect landscape, perfect sky. You have one vote, the poll will close automatically on the 31st at 21:00.2 points

Went to the market today, to buy some grouper for dinner tonight. Took pictures while waiting for my fish because I know @boboneleg appreciates a nice market. A nice looking conger, I had to look up the name as we call them Safio. Black swordfish from the deepest waters of Madeira, and mackerels: Sardines are great this year, sadly too smelly to cook inside at home and ray2 points

It’s a nice bike, but usually they don’t value the shorter version though.2 points

They’re more expensive when the store isn’t in a corner? And also, you idiot, you thought we would give you botm to make up for cancer?2 points

In a small village just outside Dublin, Big Paddy, the not-so-bright farmer’s boy, wanted to earn a bit of extra cash over the summer. So he decided to offer his services around the village as a “handy man.” He knocked on the door of a fancy house and asked the owner, “Any odd jobs needin’ doin’?” The man thought for a moment and said, “Well, I could use someone to paint the porch. How much would you charge?” Paddy beamed. “How about £50?” “Deal!” said the man. “The white gloss paint and brushes are in the garage.” His wife, overhearing from the kitchen, whispered, “That's a lot of work - does he realize the porch goes all the way around the house?” The man shrugged. “Let’s not judge - it might teach the eejit a lesson.” A few hours later, Paddy knocked on the door again. “All done!” he said proudly. “And I even had enough paint left for two coats!” The man, impressed, handed him £50 and threw in a £10 tip. “Thanks very much!” said Paddy. “Oh - and by the way, it’s not a Porch... it’s a Mercedes.”2 points

I agree if I was in the market for that type of thing it would be the Honda. Especially if it’s true that there is a 500cc GB in the pipeline1 point

I think the 'Bantam' name is a bit of a mistake as they have nothing in common with the original Bantam. I'm sure there are ;ots of other names they could have used , B31 & B32 for example 185kg ??? and why does it need a 150 section rear tyre ? . It does look the part though but then again I think the Honda CB350 looks better1 point

I've caught Conger in the past but never eaten it . I like the look of those Riscado , we call them Red Snapper.1 point

It does depend to some extent on the point at which the bike is able to produce max power, because it will be a specific rev range, and the riders ability to keep it in that max power band whilst working up through the gears…tho if it’s 0-60 yours prob easily does that in first gear1 point

Took a ride through to Glasgow to pick up some rocker gaskets, I'm definitely missing the parts guy at Edinburgh Harley, the guy at West Coast Harley is a feckless cunt. I will just get my parts online from now on. Popped into Infinity Motorcycles while I was in Glasgow to have a look at mesh jackets, found a Rev'It that fits my gibbon arms but it was white, ordered a grey one from them instead which was on special for less than a ton. Took the long way back. Did about 135 miles in total.1 point

The voting thread will be released this evening. Last chance for a late submission. I am evaluating not accepting two submissions. @Nute's as it looks like he took the picture right in front of his garage, and @Six30's, as something looks weird about it.1 point
