  3. This year's RiverFest didn't disappoint.... plenty of cool 4-wheel entry's. Most of the bikes were of the HD variety (nothin' new)....& a handful of tractors. A REAL van.... & my 2 favorites from today's show.... Love this '46 Chev w/ a blown small-block.... BadAss truck!

  6. Some of you may have noticed we have a new section on the forum. The management… decided to break out the ride reports into the new section, so put your day rides, touring and meets, rallies and show reports in the appropriate boards. Should make it easier to search and hopefully attract some new blood to brighten the place up.

  9. No mate she is a biker. She was tracking the new front brake lever that was being delivered today, by the time the delivery driver was three stops away she had her full bike gear on waiting. As soon as I fitted the lever she was gone out after 8 days off the road. 108 miles later she was home knackered because she has work tomorrow. Me and the Mrs are referring to her as Shevel Knievel now. She has had the lecture several times and knows another claim means she will be off the rood as she will never get insurance again for several years. I hope for her sake it sinks in. Oh and I don't have a problem riding my bikes to where I want to go, don't need a van.

  17. Have you ever thought about buying your daughter a Transit, @Saul? She could drive the CBF to places. Take a page from Six’s book.

  18. I think it’s interesting to browse through them now that they’re split in categories. Give it a look as there are some older gems worth a look.

  21. Gotta admit at a combined weight of over 300kg I was a tad apprehensive but I'm a tad nuts so went in full guns and the great white lump just gobbled up mud , rocks , logs , massive ruts and long gravel climbs. Before this little bimble I was seriously thinking of chopping it in for a CF450MT, but not now , just need to fettle a few thing like the suspension and the gear shifter, needs a flexible tip. Before and after

  24. So on Sunday afternoon I decided to take a run out as the temperature was up to a near Caribbean level of 12c. I headed south into the Scottish Borders to the popular spot of Moffat but other than a sprinkling of power rangers and a few born agains it was quiet. My new exhausts were attracting a lot of admiring looks from the ladies. From there I headed to St Mary's Loch for a bit of cottaging. I was alone in the toilets though so I just took a piss instead. Again there weren't a lot of bikes, I did speak to a Polish couple who were on a Harley Electra Glide and I had a cigar break. Then I headed back using a single track road I wanted to explore. This took me past Megget Reservoir.

  25. I saw a few of Fred's girlfriends, it is lambing season to if Fred had been here he would have gone full nonce. I then headed to Talla Reservoir, as usual the scenery was okay. Going off the side of the road would give you a bad day here. I eventually rejoined the main road and headed back to Edinburgh.

  26. Terribly sad today, Sofia’s puppy, Lea, passed away yesterday night. I knew her for 9 years now, and we were very dear to each other. It was a rough night and we now have a dog that doesn’t understand why the favourite thingin his world is not around, it’s heartbreaking.
