I think winter is over. Blue skies today, green fields, and plenty of wild flowers Getting out of the road and following a steep windmill access, but turns out it was a closed property, still pretty nice: Love this time of year's colors: It was a pretty nice ride, today. Plenty of bicycles and motorcycles around, but sadly plenty of groups stopped in scenic spots, plenty of groups riding and walking as well, which goes to show you can't trust people to go out and enjoy a sunny day without being in each others' faces. I didn't take pictures of any of that because I didn't want to stop amongst the people, I rode alone and stopped to enjoy locations where I was alone.7 points

I'm the oldest of 3 boys.... & by the grace of God, we were blessed with great parents...who are still together, alive & kicking. I can't say enough good things about my brothers. The old man did a great job teaching us how to Ride & Ski....can't thank him enough for that. My youngest bro was the golden boy....Mom & Dad sent him to private school during his high school years....which paid off well. They moved 3 yrs. ago to MN...just so they could be near him & his family which are associated w/ the healthcare industry. My middle brother & I see eye to eye on alot things nowadays...1 of which is being a step-parent. I've always had a circle of friends....& then a circle of Pals. My middle brother is my original Pal?.....even though we used to fight like cats & dogs until he reached high school yrs.? My golden-boy kid brother & his family.....5 points

Having brothers or sisters didn't mean you couldn't stand on your own two feet, they made me want to do things by myself, also taught me to fight my own battles because it was usually them i was fighting and that incudes my sister5 points

There's 7 of us, mum like cock and not just my dads. Being a mechanic, like swagman I mostly hear from them when a car fails.5 points

As most of you are snuggled in your beds, I sit sipping some lovely cognac, as I managed to get my latest video done. ? It's rather silly that I care, but I like to be consistent with my uploads. It's a strange creative process I go through and I guess I like it. Anyways, as I sit talking to a bunch of people who are asleep......hey, does that mean I can insert "ideas" into your heads as you all sleep.....4 points

Introducing Charlotte - My New 2020 Honda CB500F I would like to introduce you to my new tarmac toy, a 2020 Honda CB500F named Charlotte. ?? I took delivery of her on January 29th from the friendly folks at Carter Motorsports in Vancouver and have been having a blast with her ever since. I am really happy to have a Honda again, and a CB in particular. My first bike was a 1984 Honda CB650 Custom, which I loved very much. I have a feeling Charlotte will also be very special. ? My Royal Enfield Himalayan, Bagheera is now going to be mostly for backroads and gravel travel, which is where he is happiest.4 points

colder than I'd hoped today but I had an early lunch and ran away from home at around 11:30 determined to do the run I wanted to do last week. this basically, a little over 300km with a good mix of tiny back roads ( grass down the middle type stuff) and fast technical twisties. It remained cold in the shadows but the sun was out and temps up to around 10degC. Lots of hunters out in the woods with dogs bloody everywhere but nobody else about.3 points

It is a bit warmer today, rainy, but still not too bad for a forest run. Now, fingers crossed Bagheera will start.3 points

5 pages, you lot haven't been doing much. Cooker turned into a right ball ache. It's a dual fuel but Mandi didn't realise (neither did I) it also had a leccy grill taking it to 4300w, so I'm now going to have to run 6mm cable through the bloody house to feed the greedy little bugga. AND, we have to swop its position with a cupboard as the oven handle sticks out to far and hit the wall to the left so you can't adjust the selves at will. AND, I then had to get a new longer gas coupling to allow the change of position. Any leccy experts recommend a 100a consumer box, it's going to feed a 50a shower and the new cooker which will have to have a 45a I believe? Mandi had her jab 2 hours early as she was called, no probs so far but being from up north she's made of girders. Hope to get to the bank today instead.3 points

Just went out to do a few miles because the weather looks like it's going to be a complete wipeout over the next few weeks. So there I was......wobbling along some rural backroad in Dagosville and I caught sight of something way back from the road. I'd never noticed it before.....and it appeared to be an abandoned industrial unit. The faded signs showed that it had previously been used for the manufacturing of plastics and metalwork! So in I went to check it out! So here it is......The Return of Dark Motorcycling!2 points

lol....considering how my Himalayan came, I just assumed something would break. 3 weeks would have been torture.... I know that about new tires and wet roads, but still, ALL NEW....plays in your brain and you just think you will drop it....lol. Funny enough I have now been out in super heavy rain and I was just singing along.2 points

At last I'm now allowed to go outside the town perimeter. However it was 12c with grey skies and terrible light.......typical UK scenario. Absolutely grim! It's very difficult to get a decent pic or vid in those conditions but I gave it a go. The whole thing is pretty bleak really.....sort of like being back in Britain! But without the braindead twats staggering round obviously. So welcome to my nightmare!2 points

I have a brother 4 years older, a sister 2 years older and a brother 2 years younger, haven't seen or spoken to any of them in years, we haven't fallen out or anything just move in different circles. Only thing i got from my eldest brother was dead arms and legs luckily for my younger brother i was able to pass them down to him as kids we were constantly fighting we must have driven our parents nuts LOL2 points

Now there are some lovely muddy roads, not too much, but still squishy... You should put one of those pics in the BOTM thread. (if you have and I missed it, sorry, still waking up)1 point

I wasn't thinking about anything being wrong with it, i was thinking how excited i was with a new bike and couldn't wait to get on it, although i had to wait 3 weeks for my current insurance to run out before i could get insurance on the new bike, that was a long 3 weeks and new tyres on wet roads are only a problem if your trying to get the footrests to touch in the bends normal riding would present no problem?1 point
