Just about to leave for some Rugged Individualism! No Dark Motorcycling today as such......though there will be abandoned buildings that look like they've been bombed showing up along the way. Sometimes I think that most of the interior of Spain has been abandoned......I'm sure it's nothing to do with me coming here in 2005 though. Just coincidence!

So i park my KLR in front so i can look at it and next door a blonde chick lays out a towel on the porch of the BB takes almost all her clothes off and is now getting a tan... oh boy...to be fair i do still glance back at the KLR...kinda...

It was bound to happen, and in the end all is well and lessons have been learned. Bagheera has a few new scratches, but only on the protective gear I put on him, which is cool. I was nervous about falling on a rocky hill and how I would handle it. Sure, I sound a bit silly and the dismount is not the most graceful, yet slightly comical, I did managed to turn around on a steep hill and if I hadn't slowed down so much, I would have made it. As they say, momentum is your friend!

I just realized i forgot to eat today.

And as with any Mexican dinner, copious amounts of watery Mexican beer is required. I always have their version of a dark beer to give it a bit more flavor; Negro Modelo. Couple of pics of the interior of the restaurant; don't wanna go in here during an acid trip...

Got more people on FaceButt saying I should start a Tour company. Is is that bad in Britain now that a few photos of ruins with an ugly Strom in front of them is somehow inspirational?

For such a small bike it's bloody heavy Pete, 199kg before you start bolting stuff on as a comparison the DR650 is 166kg

No dinner tonight - too full from lunch still. I did have a couple of beers, but that;s it.

That food makes me not want to eat at all......? I'm sure it is tasty but not very photogenic....?

Today's lunch; I had the Black Sabbath burger at Kuma's Bar, others had sloppy assed burgers with mac and cheese (not my fave) all topped off with a couple of beers. My bud Clint took the leftovers home to his dogs....

Meanwhile on the West Coast of Canada, a spot of fresh green tea and a cinnamon roll........YUM ?

All very nice bags, but after riding with a backpack for years I wouldn't do again unless I lived in a city and had a street bike. For adventure riding, I find the backpack way too hot and I'm not really into falling with a load of stuff on my back, especially camera gear, ouch....

My GTR needed a run so i took her to Mystic. They have old chit that floats. Making I-95 look good!

Wife wanted to visit friends so I came along to hang out. She has hundreds of thousands of flying points and I have a Buddy Pass where I can fly anywhere she does for free; so the flights costs us nothing. She works for Marriott so we get rooms for free as well. Makes for cheap travel. So we often go to cities around the US for weekends just to hang out.

Wife wanted to go to the garden centre in Caniles........so we went on a bit further to revisit the abandoned railway station and bridge in Baul. Hell of a difference in the picture quality with this camera compared to the ones in my ride report a few months ago.

It is going to be really busy where I live, tourist everywhere, places they shouldn't be.....so I'm going to lay low for Saturday and then go adventuring on Sunday. Today was supposed to be the relaxing Friday ride, but turned into a "hey let's see what up there".....to "oh dear I'm not making it up this".....to "I'm down I'm down.....SHIT, so much for relaxing.....video to follow. Bagheera and the Grasshopper made it out, but without all the guards I have on Bagheera it could have been messy. ??

@Pedro is always interested in what American foods we're eating so I decided to add a thread for him where I'll add food pics from time to time. Yesterday in Indianapolis, Indiana, I had lunch at a Skyline Chili restaurant. A Five Way and two cheese coneys. The Five Way consists of spaghetti pasta, chili with beans, onions and a small amount of cheese on top. Cheese coneys consist of the same chili over a small hot dog and again a smattering of cheese on top. The first thing I do when eating these is scrape about 2/3 of the cheese off. I mean I like cheese but wholly crap!
