I left the mic on and you can hear the bike (though it's very quiet anyway) up to about 40kph.......anything more than that is wind noise.

Funnily enough I found that too, I thought my bike was sounding great but the camera just picked up the wind noise.  I think the trick is having a remote mic inside your helmet so that is has similar wind protection as you ears.

Try a bit of tape or foam with tape over the camera’s mic. Blocks buffeting and allows some sound.
