I know your not strong on dental hygiene...lol ( Ren) but is everything under lock and key in stores like America?  You'd swear you were buying a Rolex if you entered a store in the US for deodorant...lol.

Depends on WHERE in America you're talkin' about.... out here in the boonies, it's still like it used to be....helpful & friendly service.:classic_cool: Definitely a night/day difference from the left side of OR. 🙄 Don't get me wrong, there's still crime just about anywhere...but in a town of only 2,000 people, the crime rate pales in comparison to the big cities.

Same story here.    Next to no crime or vandalism in the town where I live (2500 population) but travel a few miles down the road and the story is different.

Is it because the area you are in is frequented by Canadians?

It is not too bad on our street, but estate as a whole has a bad reputation, drugs, antisocial behaviour being the main problems, and it not always the young un being the problem.

Dental hygiene, lack of dentist taking on new patients, and very expensive for treatment.

This is my dentist. 😂      👇

I couldn't pull my own teeth if I wanted to...had a few root canals done over the years..the dentist said he never seen long roots like this...he had to make a special tool to get to the bottom of the root...lol.

Even thoe are government sucks at the moment...they installed a new program for senior to cover  most of the cost for a dental clinic visit...covers 80 % of the cost if Im not mistaken....for 55 and older...haven't gone in yet since it is implemented...covers everything...even dentures...

I think the politicians, insurance services and utility companies have crime pretty much sorted over here.

Very close to the truth sadly.   I am lucky that there is very little crime where I live but that is mostly because not many people live here or can afford to.  You can find plenty just a few miles down the road.

Standard price for dentures at the practise my wife attended was £300+. And that price was over 8 years ago, ain't got a clue of today's prices.... 😲

I need a partial set of dentures, but the price is out of our pocket.

We don't even need a police force in Scotland apparently, that's why they barely fund it, just enough to investigate hurty words on Facebook.
