I just spent the last few hours cutting and cleaning up what little vegetation we have around the house i have now earned the next six months off

That's not how i experience it here. There's plenty of good weather to ride and all year not just the summer months obviously when it rains it bloody rains. If you stay away from the tourist traps the roads are quiet, admittedly i have seen an increase in people out where i ride since covid but hoping that will change once foreign travel starts again and people slip back into their old life. Big towns will always have traffic there's no getting away from that pretty much the same everywhere so i avoid them as much as i can. If i go away for a two week holiday i always find myself pining for home i enjoy just being here even if i'm just sat about doing nothing couldn't imagine leaving it behind

I get the impression your deliberately remembering and reciting all the bad things you experienced in Wales because you are suppressing the feelings of being seriously homesick just a thought

I'm going to book myself in for a proper test over the weekend, I've had both jabs so only concerned about spreading it if i have a positive test on the weekend. I think i'll be off work next week if his test is positive tomorrow could really do without it

Fucking great just had a message off the lad i've been working with all week saying he's failed two DIY covid lateral flow tests, said he's going to have a proper test tomorrow. I've just done a test myself and its negative

I've sort of given up on the environmentally friendly side of fuel use, As long as there's people in boats burning a £1000 worth of fuel in a weekend i don't think the amount of fuel i burn in a year is going to make the slightest difference to the environment

From what i understand you can still catch covid and spread it around after having the vaccine but its less likely you will become ill from it.

I'd be more inclined to ask how effective are the tests

Talking to my boss the other day and he said he paid £65 for one of those he tried to convince me the one i bought from china for £4.99 wasn't the same quality but comparing the two i just couldn't see the difference and i was happy with the extra £60 in my pocket
