    Bodmin Moor

Been up on the Moor Bimbling about. Lovely and crisp weather. Navel gazing about different bikes, the one you have is always the best. Bolventor Coliford Lake/Reservoir from different angles, Tis big. Dozmary Pool, where Excalibur and the Lady in the Lake are supposed to be. I will try and find a better spot closer to Dozmary but it is tucked away. Home with a dirty arse
  2. Now that is an idea. I do like them, especially the ginger one.
  3. Nah ching Chong chinky not for me. Also still only a single.
  4. I can see the attraction of that but its not really what I'm looking for. Also a bit spendy by the time you have the Nova done and had it delivered you would be approaching 4k. I am thinking of a 250 4 stroke twin road bike, I know there are limited options in that category but I was thinking modern equivalent to a CB250N Super Dream. That Big Boy is really one of these with a posh frock on. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/356117311860?_skw=suzuki+tu250x&itmmeta=01JAW0GW91CFMAJE5SXPYZREE1&hash=item52ea3ef174:g:h3wAAOSwGyVnAcoY&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKnjGSuw5Kse8HIpunBLLgV02LXiMG47l9UNCZl4d2MttIgpZ0q9C5SMz5EDsJs9cDMYXxHLtDaGXxzbeiUc9hkcxlSPz94aaqpa4%2F%2BS5iVP6LmRLZNPhLZU%2BKj2gkYnCxaH5hPJbEwo%2BV9U2CNv63%2ByOkrUrLuxMfqXGClIf%2Bl9N2TfIoBhkAWArd1vHIPraasIiCBO17JZCfr5FBmsjGGevmqEQ1gSjsjZQQK6BVo4wFTD7%2FcNz%2BX0Gdx%2FZ52O0RM%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR8bEw4DXZA

  6. Well I have been down a Youtube rabbit hole recently watching vids about Honda 250 Super Dreams. I had a minty one back in the day and while I remember it as being dog slow at the time, compared to strokers, I did like it alot for other reasons. Anyway thinking away, if I am honest I don't really want to be doing a lot of tinkering I just want to ride. So getting a 40 year old bike probably doesn't make a lot of sense even if it is a Honda. So I got thinking of the modern equivalents available and I stumbled across Inazuma 250's, you can get a nice minty low miles 2016 bike for around £1.5 to £2k which seems pretty reasonable to me. I don't mind the looks of the bike especially the F model and after watching a few vids they seem capable enough. Just wondering what the hive mind on here thought about the Inazuma 250. I reckon I could have a hoot on one, on our local roads.
  7. Looks alot like the New 660 Tiger. I like the look of it but seems pretty expensive, but honestly not something that would really interest me even if I did have the money to burn.
  8. No, so very tempted to do so but she has to learn for herself, of course I will help if asked. She has done several thousand miles as a pillion this year so hopefully learnt a bit from that
  9. Spent the day with my eldest daughter today. Took her over Davidstow airfield for a driving lesson. She is doing well, working on her reverse parking, parallel parking and reversing around a corner. We worked on patterns of 30 minute lesson then 15 minutes of playing and doing what she wanted. During her second break I teased her that she’d couldn’t hit shit, she proved me wrong and hit every cow pat on the runway . There were many Here she is proud of her achievements splattered all up the side of the van Some of her victims Good to get her out and laughing again as her horse died last Friday and she has been a bit down.
  10. Well Shadow has survived her first few days and is loving her freedom. Me not so much, but I am pleased for her and not quite so stressed every time so goes out. Did make me smile when I saw her bike parked like this tonight Oh and my boys Nobby no mates ped over there

    St Mawes

Yes it's a nice one, one of the last (1986 I believe) R80's with a modern 1000cc conversion. Very nice indeed. Martyn the chap who owns it also has a Guzzi V85TT and a 1340 Harley of some sort which he is currently lavishing money on. I can't remember what he stripped it down for but it has expanded to a new clutch, new tyres, belt primary and belt final drive. I didn't ask how much, I'm top polite
  12. Well I haven’t seen her for 3 days. I did see the bike this morning when I got home from work so she has been home. Taking her Freedom and embracing it. I don’t mind at all Twas exactly what I was doing at her age.
  13. Who says it's anything to do with my vanity you daft celtic twat. You should know well enough what teenage girls are like when it comes to being fussy.
  14. Yes mate but they look shit, couple of lads in her college have them stuck on like that and because it is curved in two direction it just creases up and looks cack.
  15. Not mandatory, just wanted it properly secured.. Could possibly put some shorter ones in I suppose.
  16. Bike all cleaned and trigged up ready for her birthday tomorrow.
  17. Persisting down but was going stir crazy so had to get out. Hour in the rain and my water proofs still do so that’s encouraging. Stopped in Cornish Market World for a warm up and posh coffee. Like fucking deliverance in here surrounded by fat toothless wonder.
  18. Freddie gives an Indian history lesson. Enfield owned the rights to build them at one point
  19. That's nothing to do with Buckster it's a functional fix that is decades old. It's reference anyone British in my age group would recognise.
