  1. The picture needs to be landscape or in the horizontal plane to fit the front page of the website.
  2. Padstien to Otterham Station then back to Fowey. Unremarkable 75 mile run for coffee and cake. Nice mooch around the North coast.

    Twat...

Sounds like you fucked around and found out. I don't blame you for trying but it doesn't always work.
  4. Looking good Skip. Be interested to hear how you get on with it. Imagine Pete’s reaction, would have kept us all entertained.
  5. No I bought it new October before last.
  6. Look at this, https://www.samurider.com/?p=27567/#itemImage
  7. I have a spare standard for my CBF and a spare for Shadows CB125F. None for the Hornet yet but I am watching ebay for one at the right price. So I do like a spare seat.
  8. We do get a bit of sun in the SW. Damage was not terrible but enough to make the bike look scruffier than it is.
  9. There is a difference between acting a twat on a little used bike forum and out in public in the area where I live
  10. Recover only, seat was fine to use, the covere sun damaged.
  11. I know, I didn’t go out like that I promise
  12. I really enjoy riding it, I can’t explain why as it is a bit bland. Just warm, comfy and good handling. I also think it is also because it wanks all over my mates multi thousand pound classics and is worth a fraction of that. Perverse I know but that’s the only explanation I have
  13. Yeah they are too big to go with those goggles.
  14. Just been out for a bimble on the CBF, had to do a post office run for Shadow. Stunning sunny and dry here. Bloody cold still but you can forget that when the suns out. Only managed to clock up 20 miles but sometimes that's enough to put a smile on your face. All around local roads that I have been riding all my life, just makes me happy to be out there on 2 wheels.
  15. Just got this for local bimbling about. Great vision and light and comfy. Only a Chinky cheapie but fit for purpose.
  16. Just got my seat back from being recovered. The old seat was sun damaged and to be honest just looked old and manky. So I tidied the bike up a little, also got rid of the Givi top box and fitted a new tank pad along with the recovered seat. Anyway found this cheap on FB and got it recovered. Chuffed to bits with the results, top quality work and turned around in 4 days. The chap is Steve from SAS Autotrim. He is based in North Wales. You can find him on FB, good as gold to deal with, very reasonable with no messing. I will always use him from now on.
  17. Completely get that mate. part of the reason I didn't get one and ended up with an older Honda CBF. In the UK you can get a Pre reg 502X for £5k which I think is a real bargain. Proper everyday usable workhorse.
  18. That's interesting Skip. I have seen several of these racking up the mileage on Youtube. Seem pretty reliable and a lot of bike for the money. I did have a close look at a TRK702 when it first came out last year.

Bloody nice bike in general, gearbox is an acquired taste but once you get into the rhythm of it, it's functional if a little agricultural. I wouldn't let it put me off, just part of the bike you've got to tune into. Sounds lovely with lots of torque. It's plenty quick enough 90 BHP I think, although my Hornets 90 horses seem a lot angrier than his Guzzi ones. Martyn the chap who owns it also has a Road Glide and BMW R100 but the Guzzi is his go to bike. Martyn obviously likes the clunk. He is from the Jap Crap School of thought. I just told him he is a masochist and should let himself enjoy the good things in life

What actually happened was the square was full so we waited for a space then all jumped in. Whilst eating the square cleared leaving our bikes like that. I would love to claim that we were good boys but it just happened that way.
