I never stopped using earplugs, it does quieten down the level of music but also filters out a lot of the noise.

I got my system because I used to do 300km on the motorway on friday afternoons and I'd miss out on work calls, seemed like I spent the week chasing clients and all of them would decide to place orders as soon as I got on the bike and headed home, even though I had to slow way down on the motorway to be able to even exchange a few sentences it made all the difference. Then one day I put music through it, and now I couldn't imagine going on a long ride without it. It does get addictive.

I think it'll sound very disappointing to listen to speech on a helmet, music might be ok but honestly for speech you'll find yourself having to actively concentrate on what you're listening to properly understand it. Then, at motorway speeds it´ll become a blurred mess unless you have either a very clean wind on a naked bike or a big screen like on a touring one. I use Sena's aftermarket kit for Schuberth, and still use earplugs for protection and comfort. In my opinion plugs help reduce the noise and the nasty sound of helmet speakers, the sounds come through a little cleaner even though obviously less loud. On country roads the speakers on full power would be too loud inside the helmet, with plugs in it's right the loudness I want. On country roads that's ok and great, on the motorway it's shit unless I put the original big screen on, which I don't.

I don't think you do. You have a nice one and choose to leave it home when going on a trip

There’s this spot in Nazare in Portugal where they have the biggest ever surged wave in the world, something like more than 35 meters now, it’s silly big ocean! Well, ever since it became worldwide news there are people being washed away every year by standing on the forbidden path to take a selfie.

I meant taking a walk on the wild side, that was more of a tripping on the sidewalk crossing the street

My grandad always used to say that most of who try it, like it and don’t go back He wasn’t talking about Harleys

It’s not how gay you feel, it’s how much you like it I for one think they’re just the thing for an aging pensioner retiring abroad in the Mediterranean, a jap cruiser with metal buttons on the seat or a cb500, finally let go of that uptight UK way of be, live life, experience new things… la vida loca

We were never best friends with the spaniards, nor they ours, much more of an alliance between Portugal and England than to Spain. Oldest alliance ever! If you really talk to people on both sides you’ll find out we’re very different, don’t really know or care to know what happens on the other side of the border, except that they’re mostly chauvinist idiots.

Not really how I would put it, maybe more or less like the Scottish and English, if the English were louder

Playing devil's advocate, though, and that's a slippery slope. You lose the Twin, then what kind of engine doesn't matter, then crap suspension doesn't matter either, then it´s all about just going somewhere so you might as well see the same argument used by people touring on bicycles, then the same again by people walking to places. Not saying that Harleys are more advanced, but there are untenable qualities about certain bikes that make you appreciate journeys more than on others, regardless of measurable advantages between each other.

Spain is shit, really, there you go. There's a lot of food I hate in Spain. And why are you buying precooked frozen crap? Buy ingredients raw and fresh or raw and frozen when fresh, but unless you're buying something exotic that comes from far away there's really no need for it?
