  1. Thank you. I’ve got an epic trip planned before December and need the bike in tip top shape.
  2. All over my jeans, the whole rear of the bike, I was cleaning oil spots all over the bike for ages I hope it goes well for you, though!
  3. It’s the weekend. What are you all up to? Tomorrow I’ll be visiting my mechanic in the afternoon as he’s got the GS there to fit the new shocks, check valve clearances, fit mix use tires, check the transmission, etc. Hope to ride the bike home, unless he lacks a specific measurement for the valve adjustment, floating on some Swedish gold It’s warm, so bored people will be visiting the shop to drink coffee and talk, I shall do my best to fence them off and keep the dude focused!
  4. Yes. Put it inside the cubicle under the seat, all nice and hidden until it warmed up!
  5. If you decide to hide it in the bike, remember to put the reservoir away from a heat source and in a place that doesn't heat up. If you do, the oil will become thinner and flow very fast, turning the rear of your bike and your pants into an oily mess. Ask me how I know this
  6. Owner used to have sports bikes, look at that exhaust!
  7. Shiny expensive yellow things in my car’s boot
  8. My Touratech shocks exhibit signs of wear where there should be once opened for service, at 70.000km, I'm quite disappointed with this. I won't put them back on the bike, since they're now with fresh seals and oil I'll either sell them or contact Touratech if I can find an invoice from 5 years ago. Picking my new shocks tomorrow. They're golden and Swedish.
  9. Took an ambulance ride just now, a 91 year old lady fell down on the cobblestone street in front of Sofia’s practice and might have fractured something on her hip or leg. She was so scared to be by herself I came along for company.
  10. I don’t get cnn here. It’s in the Portuguese publications!
  11. I said mounting points, or brackets. Use the weight for something instead of ballast. I hear the Indian frames are prone to cracking, so they could use some strength.
  12. With the way they have those barges developed, it’s silly to need ballasts. Just beef up a few mounting points and that’s it.
  13. Sleeping in a cold trailer in the snow sounds glamorous!
  14. I was searching to see if I had created a thread about my suspension back in the day. I came across this gem of a thread instead, so decided to bump it
  15. It's the curved shape of them, they tear when they bite. I dislike these fashion brands, breeding dogs to have them face lifelong problems is just cruel.
  16. Bulldogs have a nasty bite!
  17. Took a chunk out of her, that looks painful.
  18. Let me be the one to say that both Administrators are setting a poor example. One is touring around the US and his idea of a report seem like short telex notices of where he is driving past. The other is riding in France and instead of creating a report posts random pictures in this thread.
  19. That bread isn’t french!
  20. I like that, GSA’able trails!
