It is spoked and has a fair bit of corrosion, I really want to go tubeless.

I’m wondering if I should swap everything over and put the new rear wheel on.

Swing arm is out, pain in the ass it was, it has a bit of rust but it is in great shape for nearly 60k miles, the powder coaters will just need to sand blast it and paint it. It is bloody heavy.

Hit 29 here today, 29 in Scotland is the equivalent of 50c anywhere else.

I had a good look around underneath and it is all looking good under there, I saw shit I had never seen before, it was like a magical world of adventure.

It comes with a half inch square drive drill adapter.

If you see the second picture you can see my cordless drill with a 22mm socket on it to wind the screw drive.

I was shitting bricks when I first lifted it, I only managed to fit one frame hook as well but after giving it a few shakes I was very happy to work on it like that, I pulled the exhausts, footrest brackets and the belt guard, it was so easy working at height instead of crawling around unable to see the bolts. I now have it set up in the shed ready to drop the back wheel and pull the swing arm, I will have to clear a lot of stuff out of the shed while working on the bike but at least I can work on it in there. I’m very happy with my purchase. I may get some small ratchet straps though to use instead of the j clamps.

Life just got a bit easier.
