  1. You're absolutely right Pete. I had this conversation with a mate of mine when I was made redundant about 10 years ago. He suggested that we start up a trail riding business leading peeps around Salisbury Plain etc. I knocked the idea on the head straight off as you would end up getting sued by some 'hooray-henry' who thought it might be a jolly good caper but fell off on the first bit of mud and blamed me. Plus what Fred said, it would just become a chore
  2. I really love that bike Tym, never thought I'd be saying that about a Yamaha
  3. I've used them a fair bit for donkey parts, if it's taking ages they probably haven't got it in stock but they'll get it. I expect you already know about ............. https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/
  4. Where are they coming from Fred ?
  5. Personally I think it's the best thing you could do with that thing
  6. This is not un-PC but it's funny as feck. I grew up watching the Addams Family, this is a great mash up............
  7. Ok, i'll explain it as best I can. I wear a silicone sleeve that fits tight over my stump, on the end is a pin which fits into a lock in the leg. The pin is chamfered all the way down so that it can only go one way until the lock is released. This is a photo I knicked from the web , my sleeve is grey but apart from that it's much the same. It's a good system for me , the only downside is when it's hot my leg sweats and this can cause the sleeve to slip hence a few mishaps where it has fallen off
  8. we've got one in work Fred and my boss loves making one-off parts for the race bikes. They are such a great item to have.
  9. And now for the alternative version................

  12. Chucking it down here, my wife complained that the grocery shopping was all wet, it didn't matter that I was soaked ?
  13. @Clive, a mate of mine is selling a CB500. He's a retired engineer so the bike will be good and it's cheap money. https://adventurebikerider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=50296
  14. I have an 'alternative ' version to be revealed later
