Great photos, looks like you're having a cracking time

Nice, some great lanes in that area. Was that organised by Gray from Hereford TRF ?
-
I'm not certain but I think it's illegal to ride/drive without your licence in most European countries ?
-
Saw them twice back in the day, absolutely great live act

It's better to cross it when you've got a 'jumper' -

I could get my mate to lend you his dog, he seems to think they’re truffles and scoffs them up

The pub would have been the Highbury Vaults. You we’re lucky they were soft Rovers wankers, had they been City fans you definitely have got a kicking -
You don't need a large bike to tour Europe Dave, i've done France twice on my 250 Rally and I'd happily set off on it tomorrow. just use the back roads and you're laughing.............

Yes, Redland. Although I don't think Lois's accent is half as thick as mine I ought to text/call her or Austin really as I believe she has long covid . -

That's how I first met her. There used to be a chat group on yahoo for Serow owners, she was looking for a kickstart kit for her trip through the America's and I supplied her with one. -
Yes, that's the guy, perhaps he's just bought the domain name ?
-
Probably , you're onto a winner though as you have the perfect image for a bus driver
-
Will you be going anywhere near Father Ted's house ?

It turned into a bit of a monster in the end, he didn't want to spend all his time just taking items in and just sending them back out again . His real love is making one-off parts for overland bikes so he closed it in the end. He let me go long before the end which pissed me off a bit as he didn't really give me a reason. I still sold some stuff for him on a casual basis about a year after but I haven't seen him for a long time now. He's a really nice guy, a good engineer and an ace rider but I've no idea what he's up to now as I don't do any social media.

In 2013 I worked with Gabe who was going to open new premises for his fledgling company Zen Overland. He got an old railway goods shed and we spent 3 months doing it up . Here I am up on the forklift trying to sort out some electrics, not a lot of health & safety going on here .......... a and Gabe cleaning the flourescent lights........... Things are startting to take shape................. Gabes XR400 , his supermoto and my KTM950................... Gabe on the phone taking orders.................. and my personal tea mug ............... This was at the opening day, Sam Manicon and Graham Field have there backs to me as they set up their stalls..............

The guy in the beige overalls is Gabe, I used to work for him for a while. When they came back from that trip he took the rear tyre off his XR400 (a Michelin Desert) and went to chuck it on the scrap pile. I stopped him as it was only half worn and fitted it to my KTM950 Instead of hijacking Alans thread I started a new one.............. -
