After our Cairn terrier shuffled off we said no more dogs for us, we did have a cat while our daughter lived with us, but it was her cat not ours, one day it disappeared, it never did return, I expect it got flattened by a car, but there is a Chinky takeaway near to us. Anyway, it's a very nice day here, blue sky and very mild, so I will do battle with the leaves and then give the lawns a final cut, so bloody exciting it is.

A couple we knew (around 2005) had a couple of Dobermans, one was soft as shit, the other was a bit more like the preconceived idea of a Doberman. One day it jumped over a fence and bit a guy walking by, well more of a nip from the mark on the guys leg, but the police got involved. The friends said they could not take the dog to be put down, they treated it like a kid, so they asked me to do the dirty deed. Took her into the vets, and 5 mins later they handed me a muzzle, collar and lead, never felt such a shit in my life before that event. We have had a 2 dogs in the distant past, but never had to take one to be put down, the last 2 dogs passed away in their sleep. Hope your dog @Pedro has some more time with you.

Most of the leaves fall from our next door neighbours trees, with a prevailing westerly breeze they blow onto my lawn, but to be fair, my leaves fall on our other neighbours garden.

Thought I best clear the fallen leaves from the back lawn, it started well enough, then a breeze picked, and, leaves are falling off the trees almost as fast as I am clearing them, sod it, I will wait a few weeks till the trees are bare..

I have just spent 30 minutes trying to delete my Facebook account.........what a rigmarole to have to go through. managed it in the end... And I had a 20 mile ride on the scoot it has been reasonably mild here.

This weekend I will be sofa and bed testing mostly The garden furniture needs packing away, garden swing is knackered, so I will take that down and put it out for the scrap man. Ride report. I can assure you there is nothing of interest on the roads I went along, 2 miles of the ride was through a trading estate. I would have liked to have gone to watch the sand racing at Mablethorpe this Sunday, but the forecast is dire, so I will watch the WSBK from sunny (and warm) Spain instead.

Battery charged, tyres inflated, front was 15 psi, rear was 10psi Had a 15 mile ride, needed full gear as its so cool here. Weekend weather is looking shite so not much of a chance for another ride.

I may paint it Dildo blue, which may gain it some interest from other Gammons.

Think he has the scooter scene covered, or at least he did. @boboneleg you still got the Vespa?

Hopefully if some (mug ) guy buys it I won't have that dilemma to contend with.

Quite a nice day here ☀ Opened the shed to see if the scoot is still there It has 2 (nearly) flat tyres, battery as flat as a fart, had it on charge for about 1 hour, charger still says the battery is flat....buggered maybe...leave it charging for a while yet. So while it does that I will jetwash the paving slabs around the bungalow, damn slippy when it rains..
