We get one bill for our gas & electricity....

We payed £160 last month..........but that is DUAL fuel. And we are very frugal with gas & electric use.

Should have said that I do not know how much for a car tyre.........so long since I had a puncture. Shit...you watch I will get one now.

Our local (Shirebrook Motorcycles) shop charges £10..........Next nearest bike shop will do their best to sell you a new tyre.....but will repair it if pushed..but charge £30 for the privilege.

Not bad here.....the overnight frost cleared quickly......nice in the sunshine..but cold in the shade.

Our next door neighbour was the oldest in these bungalows, she was 87 years old. Seemed a proper dragon till we got to know her

No...there are 6 bungalows that are meant for OAP,s or the disabled, all the other houses are for tenants of mixed ages......

That also applies to our next door neighbour.......she collapsed in the bathroom and could not reach the pull cords.....my wife heard her knocking on the wall with her walking stick.......

If my wife falls over during the night she will have to wait till I wake up for help......

They are installing something called Life line.....bugger knows how it works, the old pull cords I tied up near to the ceiling......never used them.

Housing association workers are here......taking out the emergency pull cords and control box........looks like I will have some painting to do when they have finished.
