They are installing something called Life line.....bugger knows how it works, the old pull cords I tied up near to the ceiling......never used them.

Housing association workers are here......taking out the emergency pull cords and control box........looks like I will have some painting to do when they have finished.

Ask Pete ......said it might cause some confusion. I only used Clive at my workplace, wife calls me Clive when I have done something wrong.......which is quite often.

Mine is similar, when I was a kid my aunt May & uncle Fred (Frederick was his full name) use to look after me after I finished at school till my mum came home, my brother said you are getting more like uncle Fred each day, so he called me Fred and the rest of the family did the same.. When Pete started this forum he said I would have to use my correct name as there is already a Fred on here.

And my name is Clive.........but family and friends have all called me Fred since the age of around 10 years old.....

My search went straight to it.

When we had it bad the cough was not constant......seemed to effect my wife more when she laid down to sleep......me, I would cough until I nearly gipped (puked), then ok for a while...then repeat,

That's the wife's department...she is good with numbers.

I feel OK now, i still find somethings more tiring than they use too..... I seem to have a feeling like I am going to get a cold, funny sensation in the back of my nose and throat, and snotty most of the time. But the other worse symptoms have gone......cough and sore throat.

Can't remember the last time my pulse raced.....at a guess it was walking up that hill to Tesco,s.......

Same here.......mild till late Saturday then temps falling all of next week......but its February, expect this weather.

Wife's mother and father went on a bus holiday to Ilfracombe......got on the bus in Mansfield at 10am.........at 2pm they were still picking up people in............................................Birmingham which is a hours drive from here.

Don't hold your breath on them being repaired.....
