Booked flight home. Didn’t want to but schools break up 15th/16th Thurs/Fri next week and the airlines have so far every holiday been unable to cope and cancelled flights, add into that the border control strikes and them saying “flights will be cancelled” I booked a flight for 14th Wednesday, I’ll be damned if I miss Christmas with my boys. It was 20 degrees here today when the bike wasn’t moving it was boiling and I’ll be arriving back to a feels like of -3 I’m not pyrex, the thermal shock could see me shatter into a thousand pieces

No cabbage or onions in the uk ones, well maybe a bit of spring onion. The only way I can describe the filling is more like a stirfry usually of beansprouts, diced prawn n pork or sometimes duck. The wrappers are thinner and usually multi-layered to make them crispy and obviously don’t have egg in the wrapper so they don’t bubble but it’s the same sort of thing as an egg roll.

It’s a version of what we have - spring rolls.

Prawn and pork wonton soup. Used rice wrappers but they were still excellent, slightly too good cos ate six of them before the soup was ready Fortunately there was enough to make 34! So.. wont-one anyone?

I had a quick look at the "dual pole array antenna" thing you mention and I think that thats the way to go. As we are committed to mobile router contracts I'd rather boost what we currently have and see how Starling works out. I prefer having two types of connectivity anyway, a bit like using different fuels. Is there anything I need to know about it, what antenna did you go for?

We don't have mains gas so when that goes up the spout and I can't stay in the room with the fire I use fan heaters I've tried underfloor heating in two rooms, it has broken in both and once the circuit under the flooring faults your looking at ripping up the flooring. Not great. The warm floors were a delight when they worked but not worth it.

Have you tried a wifi extender? I use one for one end of the house and it's done a good job.
