  1. I had a whistle stop in Milan and decided to do a fast guided tour on a Segway (such a lot to see and didn't want to spend all day walking or in a taxi) it was excellent. Went to the opera house, beautiful. The roads were shocking and there were pick pockets everywhere (same as most cities) but I loved it and I don't like cities much. Your boy might enjoy the fast tour too?!
  2. Ahem and Pete. Lets have an even playing field ref.
  3. Ah yes but my savvy mate that lives out there knows exactly which roads are good for riding end of April/beginning of May and inbetween skiing we will drunkenly plan the route.. what could go wrong?
  4. Lol I was abot to suggest you delete history cookies etc
  5. Now that is nice. Love the wood choices, neatly written too. Where's mine?
  6. He probably did, I wouldn't know I blocked the nutjob after his second or third post
  7. Who could have predicted that....
  8. Not anymore Pete. The majority want another referendum, only 24% don't want another one. You have to assume the rest favour another referendum cos they want back in Although currently the stats are only just in favour on going straight back in, some want to wait 2-4 years before a vote, some longer, the vast majority think the UK has not benefited and it has contributed to higher living costs, red tape and businesses going under.
  9. Always seems a shame when historical buildings that look like it would have a practical use are allowed to rot away. The food - sounds a bit like endurance cycling (or any endurance sport) where you want calorie dense food because it's fast to eat and doesn't lay heavy in your stomach so you don't lose time. Not for me anymore I like at least an hour for lunch Why up at 3.00am? Weather? Time? ADHD?
  10. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the 2 weeks recovery for you and you can keep you fingers crossed for me that my new hearing aids work Fun? Umm well if you don't have a fitness plan specifically aimed at snowshoeing you might wanna have a look at that.. burn burn burn
  11. Love the federal homes. Are there many semi dilapidated places like that? Why are the farms no longer used? Ground looks fertile. And the food, I cannae bear it, mountain dew? Did they force you to buy that?
  12. Sounds good apart from the operation part, that sucks. Have you been given an estimated recovery time? Oh an the shoeing, no feckin way, far too much like hard work
  13. Mr Slowly complained he got a text from the medical centre telling him that losing just 5% of his bodyweight will help him live longer. I say oh I don't have a text. He replies "BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT A FAT BASTARD" I say but neither are you, they must still have you marked down in a high percentile from when you were playing front row rugby. He's not amused. As if post Christmas people don't feel bad enough about all the crap they've shoved down their gobs the GP practice is sending out "you're a fatty" texts
  14. All a bit unformed at the moment but off to a mates place for a weeks skiing the port du soleil end of Jan, a bit unfit to ski all day everyday so went back to the gym today.. painful!! Back to Spain after that for sunshine riding and I still haven't visited the spaghetti western place which I really want to see. April I'm taking a small group from Blighty to the Alps, must get on with the planning for that, booked the ferry.. yep that's all I've done Badly want to ride back to beautiful Scotland and see my bro at the same time so summer time ish for that one. Hopefully my BSA will turn up at some point so that'll be fun/disappointing, might even go on that .. unlikely. Morocco is definitely on the cards but as there's already other things booked for the beginning of the year it's looking more autumn time, although a friend is suggesting we leave the men behind and ride Arizona in the autumn which I wouldn't sniff at if that happens I'll still be dipping my toe into Morocco but maybe just a short one. And sometime in-between I'll have to ride the Himalayan back to Blighty for its MOT. Got very boring house renovation stuff to deal with, putting furniture on the spots everyone needs to step around to avoid going through the floor isn't as great a solution as it sounds So sick of this dreary weather, it'd take more than a daylight bulb to rectify this misery I know this is a banned topic but FUCKING BREXIT!
  15. Looks like a toll house/booth. Maybe the estate used to own the road.
  16. Someone altered Andrew Tates Wikipedia page
  17. Some people just don't care for clothes. Rugby players are shockers for keeping clothes on. I think I've seen at least half of the rugby club naked at some point and it wasn't by choice When my boys were little I had to instigate a 'clothes on at the table' rule cos the little so n so's would regularly sit up for lunch naked
  18. A total lack of positive acknowledgment for the excellent photography and superb off road ride reports could do it
  19. Another one for the tinsy little leg man theory
