Yesterday washing my bike felt like a porn scene. I tried a foam gun for the first time. It didn't impress me much, I think I should have used quite a lot more pressure to wash it off as I think there were residues on some of the plastics afterwards, but high pressure at close distances scares me. So I washed it a second time later, which meant I could enjoy one of life's pleasures which is to ride a bike in shorts and tshirt in warm weather at sunset or night. It's not clever but it's nice. I have hardly ridden it this month as well, quite a lot of heat and forest fires are putting me off, and tomorrow will go on a car trip with little brother so that'll be it for a week or two at least. There are plans for the GS though, a set of Mitas is ordered and will be fitted in September, by the time the shocks are going in for maintenance to get them ready for a little ride to the dust in October.3 points

11 gallons per 100km.... not very economical at all. And to think we're all trying to save the planet and you're the one killing it. Shame on you2 points

No turned out it was a small wheelie, Indian have been trying to cover it up. Apparently it is one of many failures.2 points

Sounds like propaganda. I heard that the first sign of the frame cracking is leaking fork seals due the the headstock flexing and putting unnatural strain on the fork legs. Could be just a rumour but who knows?1 point

Anyone can go, just pay you're money and you can take you're chosen vehicle of choice down the strip. My times ranged from 10.69 up to 12.29 Was hoping to run closer to 10s but it was just too hot. My reaction times are consistent around 0.3/0.4 of a second and my 60ft is consistent at 2 seconds dead, which is really where I need to improve to get my ET down, should be around 1.5s 60ft but I just can't seem to launch it quite that quick just yet but its coming with experience. In racecars in hot weather, the water wetter stuff works well. It just doesn’t help with freezing.1 point

Yes I remember...that was before he came out of the closet, declared to everyone he's gay and bought Harley to honor the event....1 point

For those temperatures and abuse, have you considered using something other than antifreeze for cooling? Water wetter or something similar. It's nice and doesn't slide as much when spilled either, just make sure to go back to antifreeze for your winter.1 point
