  3. Yes they’re mega popular down here and elsewhere in Europe. Great value for money and they’ve been around for a few years yet with no major faults as far as I’m aware of. I love fast, powerful bikes but if truth be told I always end up feeling like a passenger on them and rather inadequate as I just cannot get anywhere near their full potential. With a smaller capacity bike you feel like your riding them……….another reason why I kept the FZ6N, it’s got more than enough power to go ballistic when you feel like it but it takes a bit of effort. Mind you, I’d still have a Busa……..

  5. She is 17 not 40/50. I'm sure we all fucked up at that age. Anyway she came home and I pretty much sorted it out, again. Indicators repaired, foot pegs swapped out. Headlight is fine, one of the cheeks around the light is scratched up but I have a plan for that. I resprayed the scratched exhaust and crash bars all back to being tidy. I cleaned out in the front sprocket cover all is good in there. Had another good listen to the rattle and it sounds much worse on the video than in real life, I tempted to leave it and monitor it to see what develops. She is off out again with her boyfriend. She has been suitably chided and is contrite. Luckily she had all her protective gear on so only her pride hurt. Boyfriend has promised to keep and eye on her. While riding the wave of annoyance I finally got around to reroofing my old shed so I can strip the CBF600 down in it. I have been loathed to take it to pieces outside in case I hit a snag and couldn't complete it in the one day. So I'm going to crack on with it tomorrow and get my yearly service and forks sorted.

  13. Broken tooth on front sprocket bouncing about? Stethoscope would help you, I bought one years ago from Machine Mart, saves me a lot of time. It is often hard to pinpoint rattles on a bike as the engine noise masks where the rattles are coming from.

  16. Ok, in a purely platonic way, I will answer your question. I am moving more and eating less, just like the Dr advised me to do.

  18. I am coming around to the idea that it’s more fun riding something more sensible fast than something with monster power, and safer. I have seen lots a reviews praising the TRK. Selling hand over fist in Italy, Spain and France. Don’t know how it will fair in the salt but you don’t see many for sale 2nd hand here. You can get a new 502 here pre reg for £4500. Glad yours is serving you well.

  19. I know all this homosexual talk is your thing but it is quite obsessive for a bike forum. Surely you could find a more receptive place focused on that sort of thing.

  22. I know, I'm proper chuffed for her really it was exactly what I did at her age. I have warned her though any trouble brought to the door through anti social behaviour will have consequences. But TBH she isn't like that.

  30. FFS Shadow went down again. She is okay but the bike is scuffed. Busted indicators and bent foot peg. I’m fighting a losing battle trying to keep her bike tidy. To fast in the wet and hit gravel going around a roundabout. I not happy with her she knows better than to take those sort of risks, just stupid. silly bloody bint I have a spare indicator lens for the front don’t know the extent of the damage to the rear as to weather I can fix it or if she needs a replacement. I have spare foot pegs. Crash bars and exhaust I can paint. Those pics are all I have. Will see the true extent when she gets home.
