I got some really bad bug bites the other week, they were they worst I've ever had. Thought perhaps I might start to mutate after a week....and oh....ummmm Sorry, that's all I have for now. ?3 points

I'm not going to 'like' this if you don't mind Pete. I've seen enough of the inside of hospitals without you taking photos of them3 points

I just think that if I have anything much bigger than the Mini, then I won't bother to carry it and it'll gather dust on the shelf. Plus it's cheap - just like me..2 points

I have come to terms with that, but figured that medicine improves my chances with every year that passes2 points

Any of the DJI mini drones will be great, I use a Parrot Anafi as I have a need for a camera that can also point upwards plus I hate having props in the video whe tilted full forward but most people love their Mavic whatever version, just remember to ensure you have solid GPS signal before launching off2 points

After @MooN's mishap putting a bike on a centre stand ....... .....it got me thinking that this place is getting like some sort of military field hospital with the state on everybody. In my case I've had bad knees for over 30 years......stretched MCL's due to stupid sports in my youth. But it's not a case of they've particularly got worse.....more a case of the rest of me has got worse around them due to advancing years. So where I could compensate for them to some degree in the past, it's getting harder all the time to do that now I'm 66. Which is why I've got to get a lighter bike very soon. However, I am lucky inasmuch as I don't suffer from arthritis......I always figured I'd be riddled with it in old age because of the way I bombarded my body with impacts in my youth. But nothing! But I am partly deaf in one ear due to wind noise on bikes over the years.......and I need to wear glasses all the time now. So.....that's my liabilities at the present time......just got to work round them as best I can! So what's your current situation in terms of physical problems? And we don't need to know your mental problems.....or we'll be here all fucking day!1 point

Apparently it's the 650 Rotax motor and BMW bought the rights to it when Rotax discontinued it. The only difference is they're now assembled in China........but it's all BMW components. with just a Chinese workforce putting it together. I think Honda and Yamaha do a similar thing with some models and there don't seem to be any quality issues reported.1 point

I have ridden something similar, was a BMW GS single. Really nicely put together, but I felt I was never in the right gear, it always felt like it was revving too high or too low, acceleration or slowing down was fine. It was exactly the same when I had something with a similar engine in Rhodes. Not sure what make it was, picture below for the clever bike spotters.1 point

You can not go wrong with DJI. I have the Spark, which I think the Mini replaces and it was a great place to start. The smaller ones can get caught out in the wind a bit more and the image quality might not be the top, but still very nice and easy to use. I also have a Mavic Air and it is a bit more of everything the Spark isn't, regardless they are so fun. Enjoy! ?1 point

What have you come to terms with.......being a part of a group of complete fucking twats? You'd probably still have a full head of hair if you hadn't PM'd me on ButtRider in 2004 to ask my opinion on Transalps.1 point

I’ve got a shit left knee that has some sort of fluid leaking, occasionally it causes some acute pain. Right one gives me a signal sometimes but after the diagnosis on the left it’s better to not look at the right one too closely or I might get worried.1 point

Nice! Love those above the clouds shots. Think I'll go with the Mavic Mini then as it's small enough to carry around. Thanks for the input!1 point

I think @BusBoy knows a bit.......but @Cupid Stunt is the man on this! I'll tag him on FB!1 point

I do that with a few bags, my oval hydration pouches i use empty plastic foldgers coffee containers line perfectly, the other style is an ammo pouch and an empty plastic box of nestle chocolate milk mix was made to fit. The problem children was the two MOLLE side "saddle" bags, they had to be custom cardboarded.1 point

1st gear, engine running, rock back an then forward, as it comes off the stand, clutch out and away you go... apparently not an orthodox method nor recommended by the experts but i did it like tht for years with the transalp...1 point

I do think im sick, i spent 3 hours making sure all my soft bags had nice creases to them by using card board on the insides....1 point

Testing a new RAM mount location, the right side passenger bracket. I dont use passenger pegs on my bikes they add weight. If someone wants a ride get your own bike seat to flatulate with.1 point

spot on. since the back op i am not supposed to be involved in the hands on crawling around engines in bilges, but due to the covid bollocks we have no staff so it's been down to me. I have 2 fucked shoulders ( one now seriously screwed) and a hairline crack in my left knee for which I have already done an MRI scan and heve an appointment with a surgeon mid october. The latest bout of endless hours and stupid positions has the whole organism stretched to breaking point. it broke.0 points
