Had a purple one in 1975 that some bastard nicked out of my girlfriend’s garden. Had some great laughs on that little thing……..replaced it with a Suzuki GT250 when I was 17 years old.

It's been bloody cold here again. Prob not that bad but after the warmth of the weekend it feels very cold. My viton tipped needle valve and float bowl gasket arrived but need to find the time to attack that one.

Got bored of waiting for Mandi to decide if it was going to rain or not,(and it didn't), so went and watched the touring cars. Ordered oil then realised I'd ordered the wrong type so ordered the right stuff, I can use the wrong in the dominator so no prob. A genuine chain set popped up on Ebay for £100 so that's on the way too.

Looks lovely in the pics. Seems crazy the money they're making.

I think its a good idea to have a sale/wanted section

The idea would be a section with for sale and wanted forums in it. If there is no appetite for it I won’t bother.

That was a good choice as it’s trying to rain again now.

I just levelled the shed so the doors closed easily again, I have to drill a couple of holes for wiring as well. Bike can wait until next week, when I have all the bits.

For sale 1976 YAMAHA FS1E in nice condition ,i bought the bike new IN 76 and it has always been kept in a shed with a dehumidifier on , it has done fourteen thousand and seventy seven miles , it has its original tool kit and is in baja brown with the speed blocks , im looking for £6000 ovno thanks

I can’t help noticing something different about your roads …. ….the nice even smooth surface without potholes or gravel and sand all over the place… more than 10m2 of tarmac without a hole in it could become a tourist attraction for us Brits

When we finally made it back down to Hwy 204, we decided to head west towards the old Spout Springs ski area which gets up to 5100 ft. elevation....shame it hasn't been running for at least 5-6 yrs. as its only 30 miles from home. Definitely a bit more chilly at the higher elevations.... On the way back down, we seemed to have our timing dialed in as there was virtually no traffic....so I was able to keep a steady 55+mph pace for a good 6+ miles....coasting in neutral....gotta love a manual gearbox.
