We have, they came about 2 months ago, they came, slopped on some foul smelling solution on all the visible mould around the windows and on the ceilings in all the rooms, and 2 months later it is back!.

I am concentrating on the bedroom mould at the moment because wife wakes each morning with a bit of a sore throat.

I meant can't you take it further like going to citizens advice or something, it's not right that they come along every now and then to "sort it out"

I have to admit that when my wife rings them about the mould they turn up quickly, it just seems this foul smelling solution is just a temporary fix, no doubt we will have less of a problem with mould during the summer, that's if summer arrives this year 😂

They told us to keep the heating on, but that's not affordable

Alot more than your yard, though I'd bet you get loads of weeds still coming through

Both patios are tiled.

Do you not get bits of shite growing between the tiles?

It's murder trying to keep on top of it all here.

Though would guess at your altitude it would normally be too dry for it

Nothing grows here......apart from fields where crops have been planted!

Sodding weeds seem to grow overnight on my car standing......and the bleeding Dandelions seem to have roots that go into the bowels of the earth...

Well I have jacked it in for the day.    Bench done, fixed my mitre saw and started stripping out the old rotten decking.    Knackered now 🙃

Odd place for a vent.

Yeh I know, the wind howls in through it when the wind is blowing from the wrong direction...

But nothing to do with me, fitted in that position by the builders I think.

I feel your pain there. In a fit of enthusiasm 12 years or so ago I built a deck, couldn't afford hardwood for the under the deck bit, now I have to pull a third of it up every 2-3 years to replace the bits that have gone rotten. Pain in the arse.

I get the feeling mine has passed the point of saving.   It was originally all hardwood, but I can't prove that as it was a gift to my Mrs from her brother.   Typical of that prick to give my Mrs something that meant work for me.  😐
