boboneleg
Just buy a Yuasa or Motobatt, most other makes are cheap for a reason.
Buckster
The Noco lithium I have had on the Glide for a year and a half is excellent.

Clearly an inferior charging system. Plus if I recall you kept them on a battery tender which is the best way to destroy lithium cells.

Well you can't fix stupid and here's the proof.
Buckster
28 minutes ago, Vamana Gupta said: Well you got that right finally..lol But did you switch it to lithium? The Noco charger can charge multiple types of battery. If so it must have been wrecked by the crappy charging system in the bike.
Buckster
Also if you were not riding for more than a month then you should remove the battery connector and leave it in a semi discharged state. Lithium does not like being held at 100% for months at a time. That information is readily available.

Then what was the point of using a tender? Oh yeah, the bike is shit, I forgot.

If I recall they have only started saying they are lithium friendly from 2025 year.

It’s not about price I am struggling to find a Yuasa one to fit. I have head that Motobatt can be iffy on quality as well. I can’t be arsed with Lithium. I just want a decent battery, happy to just a a standard lead acid type if I can find something. Just bought a Yuasa replacement for the Hornet as the standard one has shat the bed after 2 years. I don’t think I ride that bike enough.

Check the charging voltage, if the voltage reg on the alternator exceeds the max charge voltage for the Li battery it will kill it. I can’t recall the max for a Li battery but google will have it. busabeast
For the little bit extra money id stick with yuasa or another heard of brand, no point in skimping on things, if you need it buy properly and you'll buy once
