Six30
i always change the exhausts on my bikes .... unless you do away with cat/muffler noise difference is minimal if nothing at all.

boboneleg
I have a full system on my DR650. The build quality is good but it's too loud for trail riding , I'm looking to replace it .

Saul Posted Wednesday at 21:12 Author Share Posted Wednesday at 21:12 Well I fitted a UK legal Delkevic titanium S-Oval end can on my Hornet today. I am pretty pleased with it to be honest, sounds good, fair bit deeper but not obnoxiously loud. I don't think it makes much if any difference to power but it sounds faster . Original end can was 7kg the new one is 1.45kg.

Saul
Yeah that was part of the reason I chose the Delkevic can. I would have loved a SC but they are very expensive for a better noise. Circa £900 whereas the Delkevic looks like and sounds like for £270 and has a decent reputation. . At the end of the day for a real improvement in actual performance it would have to be a full de-cat system with a remap. I’m not sure I am really interested in doing that. I have never thought, in the two years I’ve had the Hornet, that it didn’t have enough power. If I genuinely wanted to go faster I would buy a real sport bike.
JustaPor
As you might know, my Hornet came with it when I bought it. I wouldn't spend 950€ for it either. For me it looks way better than the stock exhaust and sounds a bit better. Performance wise I don't think it changes much.
Saul
I don’t think Honda claim any extra from the sport pack equipped Hornets. Like you say they look and sound much better.
