Nice enough day here today but getting ready for 10"+ of snow tonight. And our street just finally got cleared, too....

It's pretty much 1:1 right now - or close to it. Pints (and I'm talking US pints which are smaller in the first place) are running $7 each around here. $10 for a pint in Vegas was a new high for me. Add in the tip money and it's $12 a pint there. Back to the wife's hotel where it's free....

Spent Xmas in Las Vegas while the wife worked - her firm took over a hotel there. I walked around and paid too much for beers all over the place, so yeah, it was good!

No shit. Anyone can make a mistake - just own up to it and rectify the problem when it's discovered. To just ignore it shows a whole 'nuther level of stupidity.

Nice chunk of wood - walnut is one of my favorite species of wood to work with as it looks so rich when nicely finished. Made a dining table for my wife out of walnut.

I like smallish office / computer desks like that - mine at my shop is similar. But I need to get big at home for my music stuff.

Kind of set up I'd like to make, bringing my guitars together along with recording gear....

I'm thinking about making a custom desk for my PC. Anyone else have a cool set up that works well for them? Or are you still using an old door spread atop some old crates? Post up some pics and some ideas on what you'd like to have on your desk. I need to get off my ass and make something cool. Current set up:

Can't believe that MotoBummer and I got out to ride yesetrday...in November! 70F / 22c out and sunny. Only got in a couple hundred miles and a little bit of dirt road riding...

Did a big batch on Monday, chocolate chippers - the only kind I can make....

55F / 13C (for the @Buckster ) and sunny. Good enough for me. But if we ride up in elevation, it'll be a lot cooler. Will have to stick to the valleys as much as possible.
