Cheapest shit I could find as they were broke. This was all beetle kill pine - soft as shit. I made the table frames with steel supports so I could switch out the pine when it went to shit... but 6 years later and they haven't crapped out yet.

I made the bar and tables (ones on the right with benches) for a local brewery. Did 8 tables with two benches each and two "L" shaped bars that were put together like a square. Took me over 2 months to do - one of my bigger projects . Still have some left over beer that they gave me...

Hey @Bernied - fellow USA rider here. Welcome!

No - wish I did but already have too many expensive hobbies and I can't afford one like that.

I've planned a ride to Texas in late April - dunno if I can get out of here though. I'd say it's a 50/50 chance at this point. April and May are our snowiest months but I'm hoping for a gap with nice weather. Last year, on May 29th, I had to haul my bike to warmer climes to ride. Hopefully not his year. But in general, June 1st begins the riding season.

Cruised up the road a bit to Estes Park, Colorado to have lunch today with the wife. Looked cold outside so we ate inside today. I have the chicken tenders with chips (Nashville Hot style) while the wife had chicken and waffle with some chutney crap on top. Chicken and waffles is kind of a southern thing - kinda odd to see it this far west.

Amazing what a small piece of plastic can do.

Should have mentioned that - the house was torn down as the property it was on was sold. The guy just wanted to save a bit of the house as a memory of his childhood and grandmother.

That must be the same storm that we had here 2 days ago - working it's way east

This guy brought a bunch of old boards to me and asked if I could make a table out of them. The boards were the rough sawn oak floor joists from his Grandmother's 140 year old house in Nebraska. Had just enough material to make the top - the legs ands aprons were made from new oak and relic'd a bit. One of the more fun projects I've done.

"I don't know what I'm even doing here, I was told that there would be free beer" Sounds good to me.

Gotta love Canuckistan.

I'll admit it - I'm a wussy. But it was -16C this morning and the roads are still covered with shit. Soon though, soon.

Commercial Bar in Fuengirola for 75K? Let's all chip in and buy it! Be nice to have a private clubhouse for us all in Spain. Creepy clown thing on the wall has got to go though,
