We were all young once. I had a Wolsey Hornet and built up an engine out of an allegro 1100 block, Cooper head and gearbox with a high lift cam. Might have well stuck with the stock 1000cc for the money spent. Having said that, I had a 1983 fiesta 1100 and made up a 1300 with a big cam. Could believe how different the engine were to get it fitted but It would rev off the rev counter.

I've seen that done with a maxi 1500 engine, didn't go much better than the 1275 he took out. Remember right he used the whole front sub frame etc.
