    Why not? The misses throws a wobbly when I use the glass I've been drinking out of , soft drink tumbler for example. Apparently "its not the same if you don't use a wine glass", taste the same to me.

    Sounds like the idle jet bunged up too. If it's the carb I'm thinking of I'm guessing you'll have to remove the float bowl to get to that. Might be time for a good ultrasonic bath.

    Give the carb a couple of taps with the thick end of a screwdriver with the pet tap on. Might stop it, if so there will be many kicks to clear the excess fuel but should go before your leg falls off.

    We road them bloody things everywhere when kids. They were almost unbreakable and cheap on fuel which was pretty important back then.
