Control button is on the left grip, has 5 settings. Don’t need anything else apart from 12v.

Ok, thought it was fir your bike … Im considering some of these for my bike - https://www.acewell.co.uk/Heated Grips/ACE-HG20.htm?action=full&id=347

You have to mount that big control knob thing on the bars? That’s going to look ugly.
-
I use hobby gas, found them to be pretty good. You pay a deposit for the cylinder and then just pay for the fill thereafter.

It’s utterly shit, every time it rains large parts of the roads here are under water as the drains are not maintained. You can’t see the bloody pot holes because of all the standing water. The gimps responsible for maintaining the roads don’t understand the effect of water/ hydraulic action on the road surface, or maybe they just don’t care. When the water drains away there is gravel, mud and sand all over the roads and they don’t give a shit about that either. I despair of this country.
-
We don’t have the infrastructure to handle anything now. Nigeria has better roads than we do, ours are one big mass of potholes and all the drains are blocked.

I bet it was worth every penny

Anyone know anything about mass airflow sensors?

Tried to get at the coolant stub this morning, its fixed to the block by 2 bolts. To get at one of them I had to dismantle virtually the whole bloody bike. Thankfully didn't see any more fuel leaking, still not sure what might have been the cause of what I saw yesterday. Last thing I want is to have to find a new tank. -
My sympathy, I bloody hate moving house. Last time I did it was 26 years ago since when my wife has accumulated so much crap that planning D day would be easier than moving us.

Slightly annoying day, put some new exhaust headers on the bike, then noticed a very slight coolant weep around the base of a stub on top of the block. It's buried in amongst everything else, pretty much the first thing I put back on when putting it all back together. I put a new o ring on the bloody thing when I was reassembling it. Whilst trying to work out the best way of getting at it which won't involve taking the whole thing apart again I noticed a tiny drop of fuel drip from the underside of the tank. Not sure if it is a tank leak or a pipe /joint ... sigh...gave up and came inside for a fish finger sandwich dinner (chef is away with her mates)... -
I think I've been out once so far this year ... maybe it will have stopped raining by June. Then again work has been unrelenting too.

Can you get the restrictor tube thingumys from China too? The really fine rigid plastic tubes which go into the vacuum lines to stop the weights bouncing all over the place...

He looks like he has made himself at home, good on you for giving the little guy a second chance at a good life.

Mine is full of rabbit scrapes where they start to dig a small hole then move 4 feet and do it again. Wife is away overnight tonight so I was going to shoot the damn things but it's pissing down and blowing a gale and none of them are out

That's exactly what I did, and did it ever bloody hurt. Won't be doing that again. My heated gloves are Keis 601, and the cold went right through them. I have some polar expedition type mits which are great at -25 C but even those I needed a chemical hand warmer in each one below that temp.
-
I was amazed at how fast the cold went through my gloves, hurt like hell warming my fingers up again. I've never experienced that degree of cold before, the humidity is generally quite low but it does get windy. Without the right clothing you could be in serious trouble very quickly.
-
Im in Finland at the moment, -39C a few days ago, my hands in heated gloves were frozen in 3 mins. Don’t know how cold it gets where you are.

Arable, normally wheat, oats, rape or feed beans. It’s a light clay soil so not the best for growing stuff, and it’s not easy to make it pay.
-
We have a (very old) Yamaha 600 quad on the farm, bloody thing is always having problems. It does take a fair bit of abuse and it’s had a tough life but it’s anything but reliable.
-
Good luck. I always find I have a few bits left over once I put stuff like that back together

Internal flights in Finland tomorrow canceled, its to cold to operate the destination airport apparently ... -39c. First time I've ever had that happen. Finnair can only fly half way then its a 5 hr coach ride Fired up the BMW, balanced the throttle bodies which weren't too far out, fan cuts in OK , sounds terrible with no exhaust.
-
Trying to finish up work, or at least ensure the worst fires are under control whilst away on hols for a week. Had an hour in the garage working on the BMW, it now starts on the button, going to try to balance the throttle bodies tomorrow. Ordered a Mo-unit (painful) with a view to rewiring it at some point.

It was v windy here, no damage thankfully, tree branches all over the place a week after I'd cleared up the last lot. Water seems to have got into two security lights as they are now stuck on.

I have the troubleshooting the EFI one, but if you are happy to share the more info the better ! There are a few really good forums with lots of useful info on them, motobrick.com & K100-forum are both very good. Some of those guys have rebuilt any number of them and know them inside out.
