Yes I have been following Freddie's Bonnie saga. The guy who has it now seems to know his stuff. Funnily enough Pete introduced me to Freddie and to begin with I was put off by his accent but have warmed to him now and enjoy what he does. I liked his recent Trans Alp adventures up north.

Looks like the type of thing I want to see

I appreciate the offer mate but that doesn't sound like Hornet territory. I can get greasy, sheep shitty, grass in the middle type roads down here a plenty. Going late Feb early March time.

Planning is still very nassient at the moment. I plan to stay in Brizzle on the way up with a mate, probably stay two or 3 nights Air B&B or similar in Wales, but apart from that I haven't given it a lot of thought, haven't ridden a long way in a long time so sort of breaking myself in slowly. Prolly 200 mile days or so.

I have seen what you posted about Swansea before, i think I will give that a miss thanks.

Thinking about going up to Wales for a couple of days when I am one leave. Any recommendations? Only been to Wales half a dozen times and that usually meant getting pissed in Cardiff, there must be a bit more to see than that? Pretty stuff, Castles, coastal roads, bikers cafes that sort of thing.

I feel a bit left out I haven't been locked out at all.

England average and Italy bloody good. Squeaked through I reckon. Ireland seemed different gravy to everyone else this weekend. Thought Wales played well given the run up to the tournament.

More pictures please

Its just fucking woeful. The whole cadre of them seem intent on ruining the credibility of Heavyweight boxing. I hope AJ burys Nagano (sp) and gets on with some more respectful fights against rated opponents away from this Saudi/Fury shit show.

No I will have a look for it. I liked the soundtrack of Griselda, sounds of my youth

Not long enough to need more. Last time I went abroad was before I had to take any of this shit.

Couple of randoms from my walk today. Dive training boat out of Devonport Hoorays murdering clay pigeons making a load of row. Luckily the Dear Boy ain’t spooked by the noise My best mate

Any of you old fellas know much about taking your prescription meds abroad. I have six that I have to take daily and wonder if I need to make any provision to ride in the EU carrying them?

Have a look on the Highwaymans website I think the allow vans to stay free on site overnight if you have a meal in the pub. If not there is a place in Okehampton just up the road called Betty Cottles, we used to stay there on Saab club meets.

It gets better inside mate. One bar is made up like a woodland fairy grotto with little elves and woodland creatures popping out of holes in the wall. the Bar looks like a tree growing out of the floor. Has to be seen to be believed but there is an atmosphere in the place. The Landlady convinced my gullible mate she was a white witch over the course of an evening on their home made cider (which I reckon could run a motor it was that strong). By the end of the night we had to walk him back to his tent as he was terrified to go on his own. . The other bar come restaurant is made up like the inside of a sailing ship with a pirate theme, again it has to be seen to be believed. Add a few beers and low light and it's not that hard to believe the magic. https://www.thehighwaymaninn.net/
