  1. I wouldn't dare she would go through you lot of soft fuckers like a dose of salts, evil little witch most of the time. My favourite obviously.
  2. Fuck off it's bad enough my daughter thinks I look like a monkey in that picture, little bitch. It was 1982 FFS that was the fashion.
  3. Well it's immaterial now I haven't had any for 30 years
  4. I aspired to one but never got there, was distracted but other things. I had an XS750 for awhile which I liked but it was my first big bike and I moved onto something quicker before to long. And no I am not ginger I had a girlfriend who was a trainee hairdresser, who fucking ruined my hair
  5. The guy who owns it has 8 of them, one turbo dragstrip prepared. Interesting chap. That is his everyday ride.
  6. Mate you haven't met her, I have spent years cringing every time she got on a horse, real adrenaline junkie. One the back going out to the Britt she kept on egging me on to go faster or 'ave him dad, she is a bloody menace. . But I will say she is very good on a horse and doesn't ride beyond her ability. I have told her that high jinks are for track days not the road. Like I say I hope the ladies will help her learn as well as me.
  7. My boy and older daughter have no interest in bikes at all but my Chloe is mad for them. Part of me is chuffed and part of me is terrified of what she will get up to. I am hoping the ladies group will give her some guidance.
  8. Popped out to the Britt again tonight with my youngest. The lady who organises it runs a female bikers group for ride outs and socials so Chloe has joined that now. Good for her to make some contacts. Lots of Harleys again tonight and a few others plus a large youth 125 group. Really nice XS Eleven and a new Triumph 400X., plus some tidy Beamers. We left early as Chloe still not 100% well, loads more bikes coming as we left.
  9. Nah he wants a warranty
  10. You should have watched the video he specifically says he prefers Harleys to Hondas, told you he is one of yours now.
  11. And he has found the Panda! Been pissed there a few times before it became upmarket.
  12. Oh bugger he is down here now. Think his parents live near Falmouth. Looks like he is one of yours now Buckster.
  13. My father used to ride bikes, I have very few photos of him at all and none of bikes. He had a thing for BSA's but my domineering mother stopped all of that before I came along. He still rode a Honda C90 to work when I was a kid, old S reg in the UK so a 1977 I believe, he got a new one every three years or so until then but the S reg was the last. He picked up my 1981 CB250N from the dealer for me, I could see he was besotted but nothing ever came of it. He taught me alot about basic mechanics and looking after my bikes. Don't know anything about my Grandfathers and bikes, never really spoke to them about it, didn't really know either of them very well to be honest. Too big a family and I was one of the youngest so I was way down on the time with Grandad sort of thing.
  14. Fuck it this thread has jinxed mine as well, just went out to check my tyres for work tonight and it died. Had to go back to old faithful. Mine was £18 quid as well probably lasted six months. As Pete would put it POS.
  15. Mine is dying as well, or the battery is. Will still pump up one 4x4 tyre but is getting weaker all the time. Shame as it has been very convenient. I still have my Aldi 12v one that works from a cig lighter socket but I am loathed to fit an ugly lump like that to my bike. Also a bit bulky to carry on the bike. I’m tempted to get one of those that work off a drill battery.
  16. Oh dear, have you been taking Pete’s feisty blue pills.
  17. Thank you Pedro, I want that car or the UK spec equivalent. I wouldn’t give my E46 up for much but I would for a spotless E30.
