I doubt anyone would want to watch it but I found a war criminal type drama in 6 parts from 1981 on Youtube called Kessler. Load of old dated bollocks but I enjoyed it.

Cool I do like that.

Wow mind blown!, I never knew there was such a thing as kettle cooking. What a brilliant idea. Also like the Biolite2 thing, clever tech. Best thread we have had on here for ages.

I agree you have to try lots of stuff, since I got my licence in 1982 I have had 30 plus bikes, but I have only had the CB since January so won't be changing this year maybe not next year either but you never know.

Yes mate, thought long and hard about what I will get next but I genuinely like what I have. I think its weight and seat height are perfect for me. Yes some more power would be nice but it doesn't feel slow unless I ride with a bunch of sports bikes and most of them tend to be wobblers that only use the power on straight roads.. As a allrounder the CB500F/X takes a lot of beating, currently doing a genuine 83 mpg on a mixture of B roads and dual carriageway to and fro from work. Cheap to service and just easy to live with. I do have a short list but not sure I want or need to spend the money for a change that may not prove as good.. New short list: Honda Hornet Triumph 660 Tiger Honda CL500 Secondhand shorts list: New Bonnie Honda Deauville 700 Honda Pan BMW R1100RS BMW R850 Honda CB500S Sachs 800S But no real intention of changing, just idle surmising.

Actually got a few hours to ride my bike for pleasure rather than commute this morning. What was supposed to be a trip to fill up for work tomorrow turned into a bimble around Bodmin Moor. I love that place one of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall and still unspoiled by the questionable never ending quest to commercialise. The Old Inn at St Breward. Arguably the highest Inn in Cornwall but there are others that claim that plaudit. On the moor just west of St Breward. Dramatic skies today. There is a lot of history to this bridge but I have forgotten it and it’s name. I will ask the woman who knows everything when she gets him and update This is Blisland that claims to have the only village green in Cornwall but that is total bullshit, fuck me there is a place called Village Green in the clay country . Still great pub and lovely village. Headed home after Blisland through Bodmin and St Blazey, only just remembering to buy fuel which was the whole reason for going out in the first place.

No not on my bike on my car. Picked one up last nice so went out this morning to a flat on the drivers rear. Got the space saver out and it had never been used in the cars 21 years. Anyway aired it up and swapped it out. Sadly both rears we’re close to the ware bars so it was time to replace them both. I was expecting £200 but was pleasantly surprised that it was only £141 which I didn’t think was to bad. I quite like Falken tyres good grip and seem to last quite well. The ones I have got on the front have 13k on them and still have plenty of tread left. I know the car is rwd but still doing ok.

Did my last ever night shift Friday night, but I am still on the Bank so you never know. Tonight I am doing sweet FA and intend to enjoy it. May pop out on the CB early tomorrow just for a bimble rather than a commute. I have done 4 tanks of fuel in the last 2 weeks but just commuting I need some different views.

Just been watching Star Trek Strange New Worlds. Good for Trekkies.

Queen of Oz on iplayer. If you like Catherine Tate you will love it, if you don’t you won’t. Many a swipe at Harry in it which was priceless

Tonight I got passed by a patched up Hells Angel. On a big faired Indian with its stereo blasting and his pipes saving lives. He waved as he screamed past entering a 30 mph zone. He had a cool number plate HE11 AGL. Just a random encounter on the way to choir

Ahem! Excuse me I’m not.

I think we are talking at cross purposes, when you mentioned lining I thought you were talking about this sort of thing. To be fair though I am wearing my Richa Leather and Aussie Bikers textile most of the time now it’s hot. Look Pete Allen keys

Is it not removable,, mine is with vents for the summer.

Nathan the Postman likes then

I have been using Richa gear through the last UK winter, totally dry and not ridiculous price.

Steeltown Murders on BBC iplayer. One for Pete Swansea and Port Talbot in 1973.

Yeah I liked that to, no show pony but a nice usable classic. I do like that era Suzukis, bomb proof motors.

Just got back from Bude bike night, couldn’t be arsed to stay all evening Twas pretty boring. But took a few pics of what interested me. I think there is some sort of squabbling going on with the regular bike night crew, quite a weird atmospheric vibe. Not that I care really but probably explains why it was quiet.

Had the pleasure of singing alongside these fellas on Saturday night

You really couldn’t make this shit up. Showered last night ready to go to choir practice. Only to get locked in the bathroom as the latch mechanism broke. Anyway I was messing with it noisily and the Mrs and my boy came to help. In the mean time my boy puts his shoulder to the door which worked and it flew open. Only problem was he didn’t tell me to stand clear. So it bounced off my head as I was still messing with the lock. Now I have a hole in the head that is a tad tender and I can’t wear a helmet. Stunning biking weather too. My boy acted in the best of intent and was so apologetic. I never chided him but ffs save me from teenagers. Sorry for the graphic pic, Mods delete it if it offends.

Tis true but there are still a significant number of us Kernewek left but we are outnumbered and outspent that is for sure. https://www.quora.com/Do-Cornish-people-consider-themselves-Celts#:~:text=As we know%2C identity vary,«P-Celtic»). This is also worryingly true. And for the record most of us from, my experience, think of the English as great neighbors, not invaders. But the rich and entitled of whatever group that move here do make life difficult for us all.
