I don't know what the news are specifically, but judging by the IP address @Marcel uses and the one @Buckster has been using these last couple of days, I would guess Marcel is in on it.

I know it's meant to be a classic, but isn't that too slow?

Doesn't matter what kind of fish you are.

Nice! Better than your usual submissions, but sadly it's not yours.

September is about to end, and for some that'll mark the start of the end of their riding season, for others it's starting, here we celebrate our favourite activity. You can enter Bike Of The Month by submitting horizontal pictures of your bike out on a ride this month. I will consider the last one you post as your final entry. On the 28th afternoon / evening submissions will close and I'll start the poll.

90 isn't the limit everywhere in Europe, Germany is 80 for example, Italy goes to 100 in medium sized trucks. The feeling to slow speeds down is everywhere. Now is the time to set all the European wrongs in England, though, instead of blaming Europe.

Most of the time I ride in jeans and a non waterproof jacket, in this case I always carry rain overalls. However, in winter it's nice to have a jacket that can deal with rain without bothering with the overalls. Even in winter, only when it looks like proper rain and cold do I prefer to have proper textile pants instead of jeans.

I'm curious as to how you guys clean or treat your jackets and pants to keep them waterproof. I have had poor luck with it so far, but I think the sun and dryness affect the stuff I wear a little more than you guys.

How noisy are they on tarmac?

Pretty sure Europe has no say on speed limits in England, dude.

Actually, @boboneleg, the gay tires were literally put on the closed until December or January, by which time they´ll come out

I have a cousin that used to be vegan, she'd get in touch with the nature spirits and all that. Then she got together with a farmer and moved to the countryside, and first thought their new neighbor was a murderer for hunting boars. Two years later, and after a few times of having wild boars sniffing at her front door trying to get in and she's was on best terms with her neighbor and gets the ocasional boar leg as a thank you for asking him to come to her farm and clear them out The number of restaurants serving wild boar meat in rural Portugal is impressive, lately.

I agree, I just said I'm ok with people enjoying hunting animals that need to be hunted and serve as good food.
-
Like an animal that wasn't farmed inside a feeding station, that's what he meant. You and @Six30 sharing the same account?
-
Fair enough. I really dislike being on a bike at night in country roads, always worried about animals crossing.
-
Can you read? Lions are not used for food nor are they an out of control population (like deer or boar in some parts of the world)!
-
If you're riding somewhere remote at night, it makes sense? I don't really see the point except if you live in somewhere where you really don't want to be out on the road at night anyway.
-
I do not agree at all. Hunting or fishing as a sport has a place if nothing else for culling out of control populations, and more so if the animal is to be eaten and used. Some supermarket meat has grown for only weeks in a country, slaughtered and disassembled in another, and end up half way around the world. That's complete animal and planet exploitation, and one of the reasons we are doomed as a civilization. Most supermarket generic meat and fish really shouldn´t exist.

I think yes, at constant speed every 10mph has an impact if you're talking about the full tank range. The most I've ever done on my bike was 460 miles on the same tank, but that was on slow country roads. It could never achieve that on the motorway at constant 80mph.
