  1. She’s a hefty bugger that’s for sure but we absolutely do our best not to over feed her and our other dog is as fit a flea.
  2. This is her right now, absolutely fine and you’d never know there had been anything wrong. She’s just told off a couple of ladies that were out for their morning walk.
  3. Doesn’t bear thinking about
  4. The vets told us to just make sure she can’t harm herself while she’s fitting and to remain calm ourselves which I am able to do but my wife finds it difficult. She gets a bit anxious and that’s not helpful. Because the fits are pretty much under control most of the time they didn’t want to put her on medication (the dog, not my wife ).
  5. Well an early start for us today at about 3.30am…………our Labrador suffers from seizures and although it’s been just over two years since she’s had a full-on seizure (mostly she just gets a bit wobbly for 20 mins or so) she had one today. Poor thing looses all control for about five mins and the noise is horrendous. She’s recovered now and is flat out snoring. Me and the missus are wide awake drinking coffee. It’s going to be a long, long day!
  6. I bet you’re more concerned than Saul?
  7. Nah, a bit breezy but no problem
  8. Had a couple of hours out on the bike this morning, stayed local and made the most of the fabulous roads along the coast and up and over the mountains. Having made a few tweeks to the bike for my trip I thought I’d better check it was okay…….no dramas.
  9. No specific plans this weekend, still being a good boy and getting jobs done but probably take the bike for a spin on Sunday. No idea where, might just see on the day.
  10. No worries for man of your calibre
  11. For all of you with an open mind and not entrenched in your brand loyalty or Western snobbery, here’s the new Himalayan 450. The spec sheet is definitely an improvement over the old model and have to say I think it’s an improvement in looks too. Im interested.
  12. No mate and he’s only tiddler.
  13. He’s not really sure, slowed down to go over a narrow bridge which was almost a 90 degree turn to the right and saw a car coming across so he slowed a bit more to probably 20klm/h and he just sailed straight into the side of the car. He’s a very experienced rider, raced on the Isle of Man a couple of times and said the front wheel didn’t feel like it slid at all. He’s knocking on a bit now (nearly 80!) so he’s calling it a day which is a shame but he’s worried that he just lost momentary concentration. Lucky he only broke his ankle.
  14. Yes dear, I cut his bush.
  15. Well I’ve been doing some good deeds. A mate crashed his bike a couple of weeks ago and broke his ankle so I offered to help if anything needed doing………..like his bushes needed cutting……….do you think I’ll get my reward in heaven?
  16. We’ll there was clearly too much chlorine in your gene pool.
  17. It’s more fun to think of it as a credit system
  18. They are awarded when the good husband does something before he is asked. They are banked for future credit against something of a good husband might want to do. However, these credits can also be debited from the good husband account if he doesn’t do things that he has been asked to do. .The number of credits needed for any particular thing is subject to negotiation between a good husband, and the lucky wife, These credits are also known as gold stars in some societies.
  19. Giving the bike a check over for my upcoming trip in a couple of weeks time. Thought I’d do it now rather than last minute.……..oh and painting the outside of the garden walls to smarten them up and get some good-husband points in the bag.
  20. Didn’t know they had a Poundstretcher in there?
