Been stacking our log delivery this morning whilst Julie preps the food for Xmas day …………. all it then takes is to cook the turkey and finish the rest in a hot oven on the big day. Cheers Bob, it’s certainly nice at the moment. I did have a better photo, but it wasn’t worth putting in. I got a Copper to take a photo of me, wheeling the bike up a dirt track with one hand but he had his thumb in the way..

I don’t know, the captain was busy so I couldn’t ask him.

Didn’t see it to be honest but there’s one being worked on in the dry dock area. It looks like it’s in a shit state, fuck going to sea in that thing.

A rather splendid few hours out on the bike this morning, headed over to Cartagena Bay to have a look at the old naval ships and submarines in for service etc (no photos as they get a bit shirty). From there headed further around the bay to the Cala Cortina area where there are loads of trails to be explored that run between old forts etc. Couldn’t get the bike up there but next time I’ll take the mountain bike in the car and go exploring.

We’ve only had the log burner on three times because it’s still very mild down here on the coast.
