Absolutely! When I replaced it with the G650GS with the underseat tank and 30kg lighter my life got a whole lot easier.

I never change my gear though.......until I bought the HJC 5 years ago I still had the same helmet from Britain. And all my riding jackets are UK ones too......I have replaced one set of Winter and Summer gloves though cos they fell apart.

The only thing I can think of is that Tym may have given a reaction and used the wrong smilie.....I've done it myself as well. Then he clicks the delete option for it and selects another one. So there's been two reactions given, but only the last one counts.

I've had both.....and while both are great bikes they're polar opposites in every respect. If you're doing primarily roadwork then it's clearly the Strom, while if the emphasis is offroad then it's the DR. The Strom's ability offroad is virtually non-existent.......and when I did go on the dirt with one I wished I had something like a DR or XT. And obviously in terms of power there's no comparison between the two......the DR may feel a bit more gutsy pulling from a standing start but that doesn't last long.

Oh yeh......things got quite tricky then!

I can confirm that riding motorcycles in platform boots is not recommended. I had a heel come off once......when I got off and had to walk I was completely lopsided!
