Sorry mate , I was worried about your cred if someone saw me turn up on the Vespa
-
I headed down to Newport now to go and have a gander at Wildcat Scooters. It was a fail as it wasn't open ........... As it was so hot now it was time for some refreshment , so I stopped at a pub in Caldicot ........... I then had a brief look at Caldicot castle................. I needed to fill up twice during the ride so it's probably a little bit thirsty (aren't all 2-strokes) and don't even ask about the faff with the pre-mix oil but all things considered this is a great little summer ride pop pop

I has a pass out today and had a few trails in mind but it was much too hot for trail riding. I've had my Vespa PX200E for a couple of months now but have only ridden it locally so today was the chance to give it a proper run. I had two destinations in mind but decide on South Wales as that would give it a run on the motorway . I was pleasantly surprised as it kept up a steady 60-65mph until I got off the M48 at Chepstow. Now for some twisties on my favourite road up to Usk , well it ain't no big trailie and you had to pick your lines around the corners but the 10inch wheels did ok. I stopped for a photo here, I imagine this is what the drive up to @Slowlycatchymonkey's pad is like ........... It was time for a break so I headed for the Baffle Haus .......... There were all sorts of bikes there today including some real class.......... No, not that fake Steve McQueen looky likey, I mean the Rally 200 in original clothing ...... Time for a bite to eat ...........

That's the pinnacle of irony right there

and it's still tidy . In UK there would be 20 or so bags of trash around the bins
-
Nah , the bike has multi adjustable suspension as standard . Probably the best forks on any trail bike I've had (not including enduro's)
-
I think you'll find that it's @busabeast who has the bin fetish not me
-
Fantastic photos, scenery and everything else @Pedro

Supposedly going to hit 30c here today . I was going to do an oil change but it's roasting already in the garage ..........
-
Yes, good move. I had to buy genuine Yamaha from Japan so it wasn't cheap but I had no other options and I like that bike .
-
No issue at all, I did this recently on my WR250 . I hope your tube is cheaper than mine was

That looks so civilised , the Italians organise meets like that as well. I can't really see it catching on over here -
