    Nice one Chris, I've seen that circuit before in photos but I had no idea about the military history of the area. Pleased that you managed to get a decent day out, how does your body feel now ?

    I used to drive down that road everyday about 35 years ago, nothing exciting happened then...........

    Ive used my CRF250 Rally to got to France twice, the first time I only used it as my DR650 was out of commision. I thought it would be underpowered but absolutey not, stick to the side roads and trails and it's bloody ace. Those sort of roads are soooooooo much better that route national or autoroutes in France anyway, there is so much more to see. I wouldn't hesistate to use it to ride to Spain or Italy.

    According to my app it's called Cuckoo Flower , also know as ; Milkmaids Lady's Smock Cuckoo Bread Mayflower Lady's Glove Lady Flock and there are about 20 other names but I can't be arsed to type them all
