    I'm chuffed mate, it was hard going initially after the surgery with severe pain and I thought 'wtf has he done' but the long game seems to be working at the moment

    Having owned several KTM's I totally hear what you're saying about them running hot. Riding my first 950 after owning an Africa Twin was quite a shock .

    That was the furthest I've walked since my surgery, it was about 3.5 - 4 miles.

    Oooooooooooooh the big boys don't like driving unless they can move their hands about. You stick to your manuals and I'll just cruise along in my autos . Changing gear manually in a car............. no 17 in life's pointless exercises

    You can take your test in an Auto but then your licence is limited to driving autos.

    Almost identical to the one I hade Dave, same colour and same Recaro interior. The difference was that mine was a 2.0S and the wheels were different, those look like pepper pots ?

    Today will be a good test Tym to see how it’s going. I haven’t had any phantom limb pains for over 28 days so fingers crossed

    He had major heart sugery when he was 36 hours old so he still gets checked from time to time, he also has asthma.

    Pete's right. Feckin 'Adventure' bikes , it gets on my tits. I still call them 'big trailes' . Good point though Pedro, what the hell has happened to the 'Touring' bike. Imo you'd do best just buying the latest version of your GS as I don't think anything else comes close.
