Absolutely, less enticing to the thieving scroats

This morning I rode it into work so we could see if the header bolts would free up as I have a new exhaust system to fit, I think we caught them just in time before they became welded to the head........ We replaced them with some Ducati items (temporary fix) as we will fit studs and copper nuts when the new exhaust system goes on .............. The bike rides really well, it has a strong mid range with the TM40 and the suspension soaks up all the pot holes nicely

Miss America arrived yesterday and after sorting the swap and quick cup of tea Sarge headed off on the T700 for his homeland (Wales) for the night........... I had a couple of hours getting au fait with my new (to me) Donkey. First thing to come off was the O/E seat which I replaced with my 15 year old corbin......... I also fitted my sacrificial side panels as the O/E panels are too tidy to leave on and get rubbed by my luggage. Then I removed the O/E rack and pannier rails and fitted my Scaggs rack and copy pelicase...... and last job before it got too late was to fit the JNS headlight..........

As is every Ducati sportsbike made since 1994

Gorgeous looking bike, lovely for a sunny Sunday if you’ve got a lot of spare cash
-
As in it’s just rolled off the production line in Taiwan

Nice one @Buckster, what cigar to you partake of ?
-
I shall be passing Bala (in the car) next Sunday, I'll keep a look out for anyone in shorts and biker boots

Fantastic place to camp @Grasshopper's Ride, looks like you're living the dream

The SPS is a pretty rare thing Rich but I'll keep my eye out. We are actually searching for a good set of 996 forks ourselves at the moment.
-
I'd love to help Rich but I can confidently say that we have zero parts from Kawasaki's , Ducati parts yes but not Kwakers I'm afraid

Nice one @yen_powell, great use of the old gas holders. When we stay in London (not very often) we stay in a hotel in Gower St which is close to the post office tower, I too always expect to see the kitten clinging to it

I need a light tent as trail-riding with lots of extra weight is incompatible. My two man tent is 2.8kg , that's a good compromise for me .
-
420 euros doesn't sound out of the way for a comprehensive service, I suppose it depends what they did . What say you @mawsley
-
5.5 kgs, that's a heavy tent ?
-
Ah hah !! the plot thickens. You've sending DM's to @Six30 haven't you

Another example of how you've got your retirement all wrong

Years ago Fred we had to get an ambulance called to that pub as one of the riders ended up in a ditch in the forest up the road. When the ambualnce came they told him he might be charged for the ride to hospital and he made a miraculous recovery
-
I'm glad you put that in quotation marks. After all , what part of that resembles a Mini Nice to have something like that within walking distance

Great report @Buckster , lovely part of the world up there
